uses shaders to tell when the avatar is colliding with something and lights up red in the top corner of your screen which is visible to the tool and triggers the haptics (this is the non-mod way of making it work) I don't have links and I'm not on my computer rn

Depends what you call intensive then, by default these programs are just 'big' and do take more then a chrome tab to run.
If you make a shitty optimized, not clear unity project with lots of things, then any non top tier machine will complain about it, but if you keep your project clean it should not be an super resource drain.

Cant expect an 5 year old laptop to do the task though

You can only see quest users that are not connected to a PC. All other quest users (most of them) will be flagged as a Pc user in game.

I've been on vrchat since the beginning, and we have always had kids.. frankly it's not possible to stop them, however there's also adults acting way below their age too so that doesn't help.. I avoid public like covid.. I can't stand the noise kids create I'm old and grumpy.

I remember when people were exploiting portals in my park.. literally there was nothing I could do, they would get on a ride with for the animation to start and then open a portal before they sat down.. each player sat down while animation rotated the ride on an axis would be teleported directly to their map.

I've been away from this platform for a while now and as I'm just getting back I see so many new changes that I'm honestly happy with.. you don't know how lucky you are when you think back to how bad it used to be.. of course these issues were all caused by people exploiting.. everything's fine until someone starts messing around, then we have to wait for a fix from the server.. and sometimes that takes ages.

I've stated it over so many years now.. but I will state it again just for the hope of a maybe

1: two servers both running duplicate copies of said maps, however developers who choose to upload to server 2 for example and are also paying a small fee means that public world's on 2 would only be feasible to subscribers who pay into the idea to start with, like a private instance.. but a true public with members who all love and respect this platform and just love creating for the sole purpose of the enjoyment from others who also share this common goal.

Well.. one reason could be down to a suspension of your account due to some sort of activity.. you would be notified by email of course, the website always has allowed an account to login to it even if the platform login server denies access.

You must obtain at least "New User" Trust Rank in our Trust and Safety system in order to upload content. You can get this by just spending a few hours in VRChat, hop some worlds, and make some friends. Give it some time and you'll be able to upload content in no time.

As an aside, you must have a VRChat account to upload content. That means you can't use a Steam account, Oculus account, or Viveport account to upload content like worlds or avatars.
