depending on what it is. having 2-4 materials on a avatar is considered good. having 20-50 materials is considered good for a nice looking world. of course you can always optimize the shit out of everything and have a world with like 3 materials in total, but at some point there is not much gain from it anymore

The situation is the lack of frames and avatar loading speed. Because of this, everyone is upset with it. The reason behind this is the Valentine’s Day update. How? Everyone is saying stuff about their game crashing or lagging today, but not often do people say it, only coincidentally today. Because of this, the update needs to be removed soon, otherwise things will stay like this. It isn’t from avatars, it isn’t from materials, it isn’t from graphics. It’s from the update that possibly fucked the game’s coding or increased the amount of resources needed to run the game without crashing or such.

you could combine some of them as separate channels tho, like combine AO, secular and roughness in a single rgb texture, but that will need a modified shader to read it

Single core performance is still the most important factor, but yes the game has always offloaded some work to other cores. They're working on optimizing the work that the other cores and threads use though

I’m on an HP reverb and my hands glitch out A LOT. Crashes to sometimes and it drives me crazy. I have to stop using it for like 3-4 hrs after 2 hrs of use just to let it cool down.

I find WMR like the reverb controllers work much better with specific batteries. I use 1.6v PKcell batteries and it helps the tracking a lot.

Most AA batteries are 1.2v and it causes tracking issues and bad battery life for wmr

It's halo combat evolved, the way they get armor to be colored is far too much for poiyomi and doesnt work with it, the shader I found and copied over is the only thing that lets it work

you might be able to show more users with a 3090, but once you hit 50+ users in an instance, safeties are a must. that said, you need a newer stronger gpu

hide visitor, new user and user avatars, and manually hide known user and trusted user avatars that seem very unoptimized, until you get decent frames
