get a better computer?
try holding shift as you launch the game, and then lower the quality and resolution if your PC is underpowered for the game.
Also, different worlds will have different performance, and using safety settings to limit particle and shader effects on other people's avatars can help

probably not? like I said, you can change the resolution, and customize your safety settings, and try not going to worlds that are super heavy on graphics.
But if you are running on weak hardware (like integrated graphics) then you aren't going to have a good time

my best recommendation is this:
In safety settings, for all user levels including friends level
disable everything BUT voice and avatar.
Then, if you are hanging out with someone, and you want to see all the shaders and effects on their avatar, you can point at them and manually show avatar

The battery life is its biggest flaw for the Quest 2 and the memory foam eye cover causes irritation. For me at least

you need the email adress. If you don't have it then you're pretty much out of luck. You could try contacting vrchat support, but they probably can't help you because there is no way to prove ownership other than with the email adress

HI All - I hope this is in the correct thread I'm trying to upgrade to vrcplus. doesn't work. whenever i click on the upgrade link it says untrusted user and wont click through to make purchase. anyone had this prob can help? FYI - i'm trying through steam. i have made purchases in the last 90 days (that shouldn't be the problem) and i have set in my steam pref's to allow overlay in game play (which apparently can cause the problem sometimes).
