then I reccommend you to upgrade to the valve index. If you're fine with using the vive controllers, then keep them, but the valve index controllers are pretty good aswell. Since you have the vive, you can just get the headset or the headset + controllers set since the vive you have already has basestations which the index uses aswell

It is definitely worth it tho. The resolution is much higher than on the vive, there's little to no screendoor effect, you also get a higher FOV and the audio is really good aswell

Servers are a bit touchy also, but also most servers problems are related to your ISP
They often have bad networking for things that are not close to your location

no matter how fast your internet is, you still have a distance to the servers which increases the ping. If you live right next to the servers, your ping will be really small. If you live on the opposite side of the earth to the servers your ping will be really high
