Doing so means you need to give them your password and if they get banned you will get banned also for being listed as an alt account.

Few ways to do it, most boil down to bending the avatar into the shape you want and spawning in the object.
If its a more complex animations like particles you gotta spawn in those and all.

The process is more related to like how movies get stitched together if you have even worked with AfterEffects or Photoshop.

It's not the full screen that burns in but usually bright stuff makes it easier to happen.

Finally! I can run VRChat by holding Shift during application startup, then the Unity game launcher allows me to set the resolution, quality and inputs. It runs so well at 1366x768 in DesktopLow quality.

And also, I projected my laptop monitor onto my TV via Bluetooth so I can use the TV's speaker as my audio output while using my headset microphone with the headset off my head. Feels so much more natural.

The last time I had that issue was when my internet cut out every few seconds. So the issue is with some sort of files not working correctly. Either some files couldn't be downloaded, or theyre corrupted. So clearing cache is something you should always do first

You can clear the cache either ingame or if you can't start the game, by manually deleting the files. In the settings menu in vrchat I think there should be a button called clear cache. But its still better to clean it outside of the game

You could try enabling the gesture you want, and then turning gestures off in the radial menu, which will prevent you from changing the gesture until you re-enable them

Do you have the issue that if you do a gesture it shows up and works perfectly fine, but as soon as you press anythong on the touchpad like turning/jumping or walking the gesture on that hand goes back to the idle gesture? check in your vrchat settings, you should set the mic to virtual desktop's virtual mic

I also think you need to enable a setting, either on the quest app or the pc streamer app to allow the mic

ryzen 5k does have very very good single-thread perf

which is what vrchat is after because of dynamic bones and a few other things that cause the main thread to chug

I wager you would see a visible increase in framerate

Interesting on my current cpu all 8 threads are equal playing vrchat

But I chug at 45fps most of the time

even if the other threads can peel all the apples before the main thread is back with another batch

they cant do anything but wait for the main thread to come back

turning off all dynamic bones makes large rooms with like 30 something players run fine on my AMD FX

I too, enjoy a nice slice of technical debt every now and then

a 3-month rewrite of an old netcode hook there, and another 2-year long entire refactor of the server backend implementing all the features added with the bodges of the old backend here. aaahhhhh, tastyyyy

But yeah, FGL is great because modern CPUs are getting more and more cores, and the clock speeds aren't even being reduced

utilizing those threads efficiently grants insane speed

Shortest time to user is weeks of "regular" play. Add friends, go to publics...don't focus on having the ability to upload a world. You can still work on your world today and upload when you rank up

Yep. That's exactly the equal. Just because the community has a bunch of long time dedicated creators doesn't mean everyone has to be that way. It's way better to make sure vrchat is worth the time it takes to make an avatar.
