I just have a tiny config file (not a mod) that's located where the also the cache is stored with bits of informations which disables all particle crashers. Doesn't do anything about any other ways to crash people though.

I allow shaders for all ranks, but disable animations, particles, and sounds for green and below. This prevents blinding effects unless the avatar is set to do it for everyone, all the time, which most avatars won't since they'll get swiftly votekicked.

game crashes often; some wannabe hackers claim to be able to hack you -> ignore them, they are trashtalkers; people are not always ignoring you, sometimes they are mute; avoid most common worlds and rather stick to game worlds if you need friends; you can only upload your own content when you use a vrchat account and hit new user rank at least; dont even try to hate on furries, they deserve better (no im not a furry myself); avatar search function never worked; Nutterbutter and brushes are not funny; please act like a normal human being, there are enough trolls and 10 year olds in this game already; yes people can crash you and no they dont install malware on your PC; no your PC cant take damage when you get crashed

If you have geforce you could optimize the settings and see if anything happens/

At least you can increase the cap in desktop mode. Can't do that for VR as it'll be hard capped to the VR headset's refresh rate, though that makes sense for VR as screen tearing would be much worse to deal with.

I have a friend with extreme social anxiety and what I get out of it is that she is constantly worried what other people think of her. That is the biggest thing. So that’s the point of attack. You must stop caring wha other people think of you. In reality, you are probably not even being thought of at all. You are just a background NPC to everyone else, so don’t worry about it.

I have been tempted to play the betas, but from what I have heard bug reports go ignored sometimes and versions are still pushed to official release and on top of that creating bug reports takes quite a lot of time and I am not sure if I can fit that into my schedule atm

The stutter on instance master is due to someone joining and having to send a bunch of queued events. Nothing to do with connection quality. A fix is on the way but as usual with networking stuff, you have to be careful what you touch or else you break everything 😛

With the UI update comming vrcSoon Do you guys think there could be an option for a loading screen reminiscent to the original space one the game had? The music and feel of that loading screen literally gives me so much happiness I have a recreation of it as my homeworld

wana know the most spooky thing about vrchat in early 2017? something that most people seem to forget and I love telling people for some reason?!

when vrchat first released on steam, you couldn't make a private instance of a world. if a world was public, the world you joined or dropped a portal to was always public. if the world was not public yet it was always private!

You also couldn't request invite. so everyone had a universal sign for "invite me please". they would go to the Hub and invite someone in a private instance. the hub was so disliked that everyone knew that meant "invite me please" and no one would really invite you to the hub then
