Anyone else had problems with sitting/standing options in vr? Lately I run again vr chat but strangely it gets my height wrong. It remembers my high when I start game, but changing option to "sitting/standing" just slightly adjust avatar position.
Before when I wanted to sit down for a bit. I sat down and chose option "sitting" and my avatar appeared to be standing.
Now when I sit, and put "sitting" it's still just crouching. Same other way. When I start sitting and wanna stand up. It just make my head go above avatar head and arms naturally go up as well since I'm standing now. Very annoying situation. Any idea what happened and how to fix it?

The oculus line up was a very good balanced option for the price, but with facebook taking more and more control (requires a facebook account, and can't even sideload to quest without proving your irl identity), I don't feel comfortable recommending them anymore for everyone
There's always a chance for another player to enter the vr game as well. HTC might bounce back and be a viable option again

According to many responses in this discord, a rough estimate would be ** 20-40 hours**, but big exceptions are possible.

i dont know if this issue has been already talked about here but after some time of being on vrc or if i get on and go into a almost full lobby my GPU just stops working anytime someone loads and my game freezes for around 3-10 seconds i wanted to see if this was already being looked into

just sounds like a hardware issue, you've got to remember that people don't optimize their avatars, thus your computer has to work harder. the issue really can't be "looked into," though you can always disable avatars below a certain performance ranking or above a download size in the performance options under safety settings to help mitigate this.

@modern sand When the API failures happen it is 504 Gateway Timeout that is returned from CloudFlare.
You can see them in the browser inspector when on the website. But I am sure that is affecting the in-game things too.

Yeah, nothing you do in play mode is saved automatically. There's probably a much better way to do this, but what I do is adjust one component in play mode, and then right click on the dynamic bone component and select copy. Then get out of play mode and go to the component and right-click, paste component values
