If you can deal with the little less fidelity though, you do have the option to use it standalone as well.
Together with third party firmware you could also experiment with it as a wireless PC VR Headset.

The other person would not even know where it's from if the image doesn't have a watermark.
World favorites are only really bookmarks, you still visit them... you just dont need to search for them every time or find them in the big list.

first of all, isnt visiting the same places over and over again against the incredible potential of vrchat? you can explore and experience so many different things, just as with avatars you can experience to be or represent yourself in many different ways (aside from the meme avatars that could almost deserve an entire avatar category next to nsfw and sfw for itself)
Regarding the avatar favorites:
- people get themselves lots of (potentially malicious) modifications, because they want more avatars to choose from or represent themselves in a world differently, this would be prevented by increasing the number of favorites to pick from
- users will go to the worlds they need their avatars from, enabling people to have more favorites would spare them from this effort
- as mentioned above it is an unique characteristic for virtual reality not only to "feel" like being somewhere but also being some"thing" else, thereby being perceived as someone/something else by others and thereby hightening self-expression leading to conversations being much more interesting. Having less avatars to pick from for the many different worlds or occasions you can be in (especially when you are no avatar creator) can be very restrictive when it gets to that
- Throwing out favorites you really liked for other ones can make it almost impossible to find them ever again, for example if it is a public avatar made by only one person that hasnt been sharing it in a specific world
- Last but not least avatars are imo just as important as worlds, as they are kinda part of the world that is surrounding you, maybe even more so, since they help expressing what you feel, like or do directly, just like clothes do. A world is a much more neutral medium to be in, when everything is about chatting, which would be impossible without avatars to represent users, thereby making them more important to the concept of vrchat than worlds.

What you are suggesting makes it necessary to learn Unity (let it be understood: a professional game engine) and acquire blueprint IDs of your favorites to collect avatars (howsoever that works). That's as if you were taking photos of clothes that are sold in a store, but they only give you 16 shirts, so you have get yourself a machine and learn how to use it to replicate the outfits, because the seller wants the people to just wander around in their store instead of people wearing whatever is being held ready to be worn.

Not usually. There has only been one wipe of inactive accounts, back when the GDPR laws came out they had to delete any account that didn't agree to the new terms. It will probably never happen again.

Not every game utilizes the same things necessarily, so that is possible.
When overclocking you wanna test a ton of stuff and then you might still find that one game 1 year later that's first showing instability.

There's nothing that specifically states a non paid position, and not really anything that's just moderation since vrchat employees can wear many hats. But you can always just apply and state your case. See what happens

vr in general? I dont think it would run at 90 fps without scaling the resolution down.
just for vrchat? Could work because its more cpu demanding. My gpu is between the 1050 and 1050 ti and I have problems running most vr games at the full resolution. But if I scale the resolution down it works most of the times. And in vrchat my cpu is bottlenecking my gpu. So when I'm in full instances where my cpu cant push any more performance I can even turn up the resolution 200% without loosing any frames

what port do you have for monitors/vr headsets? If you have hdmi a windows mixed reality headset would be a good option. Those are able to run on systems that are a bit too weak for other headsets. If you have display port then the rift s is a good option, although I'm not sure if it will run well because of the 1050

ok I just read that windows mixed reality does work with display port to hdmi adapters so if you have display port you can use a windows mixed reality headset with an adapter (or more like a converter but who cares lets call it adapter anyways)
