i have anb aunt who's 93 who has actually got dementia and shes like a wild animal.. we lock the doors to keep her in and alive.. shes completely gone.. i go over there and have to help my mum deal with it because she faints around blood.. im not trained or antything of the like.. i just do what i do for my mums sake

@woven steppe it has to do with how Blender does FBX exports

As you may have noticed, the armature scale is also at 100 if you are not exporting with Cats

#

If you are exporting a single mesh without armature, tick "!Experimental! Apply Transforms" in the FBX Export settings in the bottom left.

#

That will fix the rotation

#

The scale can be fixed by setting "Apply Scalings" to "FBX All" rather than "All Local"

#

By the way, don't do that apply transforms thing if you are exporting something with an armature

#

Yes you don't get turning if you want first person movement, but if you need turning you can turn on both 3P holoport and Third person rotation settings and you will rotate by moving the controller in a certain way while tapping the walk button. You can figure it out @languid beacon @vocal shard

The player creation is a big part of the problem. Just the fact that you can go into a room with only a few people and have 90fps, but the more people join the more lag happens shows that's a huge deal

It's not about one person, it's about a whole room full of people with avatars that are as taxing as 5 optimized avatars each

@queen mango texture atlasing refers to merging all textures into one big texture. The model does not change in appearance, but it becomes much easier to render, increasing fps. Material count is a fps killer

Yeah, the UI was slightly reworked, but this was after they mirrored the loading screen to also be behind you. The one behind you has a "back to home" button that's still the old design.
