The only way you could would be making a avatar world, but due to steam users beeing limited you would need to make the world public to change into those avatars from your vrchat account when visiting the map

You can make your own using digital ocean or aws or cheaper cloud providers. Lag can be caused by routing issues and using a vpn can make things faster in that case

Downloads can cause really bad lag due to "buffer bloat"
You can use traffic shaping software ("tc" on linux) to put in some limit slightly below your actual bandwidth, so you do the buffering and not the shitty isp. That can make games work better while a download is in progress
Isps can buffer more than a second worth of download and that will contribute to lag and even cause timeouts at the benefit of slightly higher download bandwidth and especially gaming bandwidth testers

From what I have heard the AI for the trust rank takes into account how often you interact, who with, how those people react to your interactions, your friends and how they rank, and if you have popular worlds
I wouldn't recommend battling the AI over rank, everyone is the highest rank when you add them anyway

My laptop runs on average, 70-90 fps when there are no more than 4 avatars. Any more than that and it drops to 45-60 fps.

My suggestion would be to set vrchat to lowvr mode (hold shift at launch to open the config menu for this), also turn off particles and shaders for new users helped me and i have a 3.6 ghz system running at 120% with a gtx 170 (65-90 fps avg in 15 users room (great pub)

I've always enjoyed visiting publics. I probably still spend more time in friends+ these days simply due to invites and such, but I always refused to let the crashers drive me out in the past.
And lately with the trust system, even though it doesn't really work in the intended regard of how it incorrectly assumed crashers to be low rank and thus auto blockable, it has had the notable effect that they're more careful these days.
It much rarer to see them strutting around the pug (or other active publics) crashing people on a whim and at random, thinking they're invincible.
They know they can get de-ranked now.

if I'm completely honest I feel like it's people higher on the trusted scale you need to watch out for. Sure crashers are new accounts but they're 1 in 100. But people do block and hide avatars. And whilst we still have no way to be sure whether that effects the trust score, the possibility is enough to change behaviour.
