Hey idk if this is the right spot to ask this question BUT!!! I've been trying to make steamvr work with me since I know the computer can handle it as well as the headset (hopefully), but when I logged into vrchat it was running at about 2 frames per maybe (literally. I could barely tell what i was looking at) and the quality was super pixelated. I wanted to know if this is wifi based, connection based, or overall just not a good fit. I'm using an oculus quest 2 and I've been strictly standalone on quest for about a year and a half now ^^'

Ive noticed the worlds most subtle and unnoticeable "bug" and I feel like I have to say at least something so I don't feel like I'm going crazy. When I click on someone in the friends list the UI click noise is just a tad louder than when you click on literally anything else in the UI. If you listen really carefully and click around on various UI elements back and forth youll notice the sound is just a bit louder when you click on a person while scrolling through the friends list (maybe this depends on volume settings, i do not know)

i feel like its not worth an actual bug report but like its just kind of funny that I even noticed it

You may need to reset your avatar to the default.

On the VRChat website, under the avatar tab, at the top there is a button to reset to default.

On quest, I believe you hold the vrc menu button on each controller when loading into the world, but I can't recall for sure.

Ya should try holding both menu buttons first. (The button to open the vrc quick menu iirc, need to hold both at the same time, the entire time the world/game is loading.)

ah... because they are implementing impostors instead... impostors, aside from the few issues they might still have some times, are much more useful than fallback avatars ever were 🤷
no one really liked the default fallback avatars... and very very few people actually uploaded custom fallback avatars 🤔
so removing the fallback avatar feature makes sense... waste of resources to continue to support it if no one uses it and impostors are just easier and can be automated 😅
