Brother I don't think you realize the mental strain that befalls game devs when stuff like this happens. Imagine working on the same problem every minute for 6 hours burning your damn eyes out staring at a screen trying to fix the same error over and over and over again only for the program your using to just break everything because you accidentally mis-clicked on something because you've been banging your head on the same damn problem for 4 hours on end. I'm sure your job is difficult and obnoxious to go to but to say that the "Bull shit Developers that cant keep a server up after more than 6 hours" don't have it rough too is just a poor move.

Also the person who originally typed that was not taking this situation seriously at all. General is meant for like casual conversations but everyone is losing their minds about the servers going down like ya'll have no other games you can go play while you wait.

I'm not trying to be rude but dude if it takes the devs a few hours to deal with an unexpected crash it takes them a few hours I'm sure their doing their best to fix it for the people that wanna play the game.

So can we all just take a bit of chill pill with the constant "When are the servers coming back on?", or "Why is this taking so long?" take a breather and relax for a little get some water and just watch some YouTube or a movie or something.

It's neither VRChat nor an event in VRChat causing it, but you know how people are, blame each and everyone who isn't responsible make wild theories, and then end up forgetting about it once the servers are back

me too, i use a pulley system aswell, but what ive heard having the recievers vertical help with two thnigs, interference, because most signals are horizontal or atleast taper off so less interference, and directly above your playspace gives you the best connection, if you want i can dm you a photo (that was before i spaced out all the dongles using more double sided tape)

The headset should go into a low power sleep mode after 15 minutes of being idle. Wearing it should keep it alive but maybe there is a problem with the sensor detecting if it's worn?

You can disable the timer with a registry edit that should be documented somewhere online.

Would be useful knowing if it's just going to sleep, or if it's disconnecting and then sleeping, which could be a bad cable. But you would see that in windows.
