No, im not. I understood it fine. But test is right, its subject to vrcs own compression and audio filtering which you cant control, its there by default and cant be changed. This makes songs sound more flat and less have less bass. Which by prefrence many people dont like, some dont mind and i dont mind. But its just how it is

Single-thread performance should be a major factor if you're looking at an Intel chip, imo. The reason I suggested those two is because of their 3D stacked v-cache, which is a huge boost when using Unity applications like VRChat

i already have mine at the max setting which is 5 minutes (there is no 10 minute option), but all the links ive checked so far are from people who had their display automatically turn off after 5-60 seconds and they fixed it by increasing it to 5/10mins. i havent found anything on just keeping it on permanently

You know how the Quest has:
Quest 1, Quest 2 & Quest Pro? I'm sure that the three models have similarities and difference.

Same goes with your Vive Index. There may be different sub model classes that cause it to behave differently from other index headsets

Honestly I hope they just find something else to add to VRC+ and make it practically unlimited for everyone. Paying for synced bookmarks seems a bit silly from the consumer side, and encourages over packing avatars with features on the creator side, which makes avatars harder to make & maintain, while also performing worse.

I don't see them removing it right now making any sense, that would be a mess.

Has anyone ever noticed that when you make a request to the vrchat api "api/1/auth" endpoint (for checking valid auth tokens) if the response is invalid, it still returns a response code of 200 (meaning request was okay) but returns the error in the response json? it also does this if the token is invalid instead of setting the json response "ok" parameter to false. I've only ever seen this type of stuff in memes, it's pretty bad practice to do that, I don't know where I could report this either if I should

is it still not possible to do amd fsr/nvidia nis upscaling after the eac update? i recently got a new pc, 7800x3d/4080, and with zero safety settings/all avatars shown and a full mirror turned on in big instances my cpu frametime is still less than my gpu frametime

the gpu is either spending its time on draw calls or pixel shaders, if it's pixel shaders then upscaling would have a real shot at improving performance so i'd like to try it

I have a problem and I don't know who to ask for help, my avatars are disappearing (vrchat prohibits them), clearly I have the projects to re-upload them, but I have no idea what could be happening, nor how to find out what I'm doing wrong to fix it. I don't think my avatars violate vrchat policies, they are small, cute avatars, without animations or music, with their quests version and as optimized as possible. They are not sexualized, nor do they have gore, nor violence, some I have made public, but why?

I'm not the only one who has had small avatars disappear. So he asked me if we are breaking any rules by having small avatars? If so, we would like you to be clear on that point.

I don't have eye tracking, but the default eye movements of all my avatars are broken. They just seem to follow where I'm moving my head at, which makes some situations where only one eye moves around while the other doesn't.

That's odd- My avatars still work, just the eye tracking doesn't.

Edit: Problem resolved lol, Phase did me a solid and helped me out! Eye tracking had to be turned on in settings as the pop-up window doesn't enable it properly.

In my 3000 hours on VRchat the little mic icon in the corner has never bothered me. You can change the opacity of it, so its almost see thru.

Out of curiosity I humored it and booted it up on Quest. Changing mic Opacity to 0% causes it to go away completely, turning it back up, of course, brings it back until it's completely opaque. Turning the hud from verbose mode to limited keeps it, turning the hud off turns it off. I'm not entirely sure what cursed version they are using, but it works as described for me.

Bro i cant even dogfight no more, i use to get 15-20fps in desert airbase, or test pilots, now my headset gets 10fps and struggles to get to that, it lags and crashes 24/7 i cant do anything fun no more, even chilling in a world, someone joining can freeze my game and sometimes forcing me to turn off my headset to fix it and this is with peoples avatars blocked.

Even my friends on pc are having problems with performance, its not just a quest issue.

Pc users always go straight to, “your on quest thats why” ofc i know that, its the game not my headset theres a noticable performance drop, between now and before the update my headset has been on the same version, how can i lose performance from being on quest smh the only way that’s possible is for the game to do that

I don't know the specifics, but know that those that had been uploaded were never meant to be if they were over 10MB.

You have to leave your comfort zone. Plain and simple. Any interaction that is not easy and feels awkward at first will help because it forces you too challange and adapt. Dont see it as failed, see it as learned for the next one. Start saying good morning to anyone that crosses your path ina random public lobby. Wave to strangers, small talk with people. Maybe try telling life stories to small group of people. It's all heuristics. Quite littrly, fake it until it starts to be natural. Im autistic and socialising was something i needed to learn. Essentialy force yourself until its not forced. I also adopt a thought process of "theres a 99% chance im never going to see these people again so why should i care if something goes a little bad or akward. It happens to everyone. That's not how it works. VRChat runs smoothly depending on how much space you have for storing its avatar and world data. The more the merrier, basically.

You do realize the freezing issue is due to two things right poor wifi connection/poor computer specs or by using a quest 2 i had a quest 2 for almost 3 years and the one consistent thing with it was freezing because the quest 2 isnt meant for large applications like vrchat but it was given a place in it due to user count i play on pc vr with a cosmos elite currently and have 0 freezing ossues

The updates dont often break things either that have major performance impacts like that the most recent big "break" was with quest users not being able to hear or see videos/music through vrcdn links

I know constraints aren't. No idea how gogo places the collider for flight. I could see it not working for quest depending on how they do it though.

If colliders are indeed not allowed on quest avatars, then I'm pretty sure I know how they're doing it which would violate TOS.

Though "drone avatar" to me is more like those avatars that can spawn little flying camera drones, so who knows.

I'd be interested in flight methods that don't use a collider however. I personally can't think of how you'd achieve the same or similar flight method without using colliders or constraints though.
