And using VRchat with it has been fun, im still just crossing my fingers for a native port one day.

My setup is pretty unorthodox but it works. Got virtual desktop working on the PC, i dont have ethernet, but the connection is stable enough, so I can get…half as good quality as a link cable, and play wirelessly and charge.

The one single issue I have with the headset is that its impossible to charge and be link cabled at the same time, so I don’t have to deal with potential latency issues

Support may take a bit of time, however if you have no access to your old mail it's likely not looking that good.
Emails are the utter most important thing to take care of on the Internet.
If you lose them you often lose all that's associated with them.

So basically where I'm getting at with this is that whenever I load VRC after starting up Plutosphere, All my settings reset. Is there a way to fix this?

plutosphere from what I remember is a loaned vm and not a dedicated one to you so it kills everything after you turn it off after like 30-60 mins from what I remember

shadow is the only good cloud pcvr that can actually have a dedicated pc just for yourself expensive tho but really worth the money if you have good wifi and want to play pcvr and do more than that

I am and be always in open lobbys. and to this topic, it feels that more and more worlds get unplayable because of inactive players that are not interacting or doing anything, just being afk or sitting in front of a mirror, even if you can have today without mods a pocket mirror...

I know only the Great Pug as the last active World with players that are actively playing in the enviroment.
Back then, there was also the Presentation Room, the Open Mic Night. and especially, the official VRChat Hub with 20+ online players.

If you get some friends going, you can check up Spy Check, one of my favorite "get to know people" map

For a very recent map, there's FloatingAirship which have nice people

And there's "Yet another movie theater" if you want a nice map to watch media in (it is mine)

most friends I have are chilling in private worlds, IDK how you can do and enjoy something like this, if you are not developing some worlds or avatars right now and don't want to be annoyed by players while testing around for Unity...
Maybe its also because I lost the feeling of VR... Its not like a second world, its just like a screen that is strapped directly on your face.
Back then, the first VR experiences with the Oculus DK1 & DK2 was bigger for me, atleast it felt more intense to see a virtual world around you that moves the camera like you move your neck. I mean you just sit in a scripted chair and can just look around while moving in a rouler-couster and it was f#####g mind-blowing!
Today it doesen't feel anymore like this, just another PC game with a screen that is directly mounted on your face. nothing more, even if the resolution is now 36 times larger than the 1280*800p displays back then.
