Hey on quest 2, so ive been having a problem with vrchat where itll just crash when i try to join a world with 10 or more people in it, i can have all of the avatars hidden but i crash bout 3-4 seconds after joining regardless of my settings being set to the maximum protection. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this? I had this problem before and had another user help me but it seems that the problem has come back. Any help would be great.

Hi guys I just got public world banned for a week. I am not complaining and take full responsibility however I was given this message " Inappropriate conduct: creation of sexually explicit avatars. Offending content removed. All avatars set to private.". I know me wearing any avatar did not cause this as the avatar I have been in for the past 3 months has not been removed so it was an avatar I had made public and shared to someone possibly. I have a lot of avatars and was wondering if there was any way to see the avatar that was the issue and can modify it to be SFW for public. I am unsure whether to submit a support request or ask for an unban as I have heard there is a slim chance I will be given a chance to plead my case.

the Scunthorpe problem is an issue with text censors - it's really easy for a computer to find a string, but it's very hard for a computer to interpret a string with context of how that string is being used
For example, the word "amazing" is blocked by VRChat's censor - "amazing" has the substring "mazi" in it, which is a misspelling of "nazi", so it gets blocked

you do want to block obscene substrings, because otherwise you could get around the censor by justnotusinganyspaces

For performance issues, I'd recommend hiding avatars that are Poor ranked and below primarily, followed by reducing or disabling antialiasing, and turning the graphics preset to Low (which affects shadow cascades and LOD distance offsets)

For network lag, see if there's an instance region that's closer to you? There's US West (hosted in San Jose, CA), US East (hosted in Washington, DC), EU (hosted in Amsterdam, NL), and Japan (hosted in Tokyo, JP)
You can tell which region you're joining by looking at the region flag, at the top-left of an instance's thumbnail

For video compression issues, make sure your computer is connected to your router via ethernet? You could also try getting a separate router exclusively for your Quest, plugging that secondary router into your computer via Ethernet, and connecting the secondary router to your main router via Ethernet, for a vv good airlink connection
(Linking a Quest does not require an outside internet connection at all, as it's a LAN operation)

The worst part of any fandom or community will always be the loudest, i.e the part people hear about first. That tiny terrible part doesn't even vaguely represent the multitude of viewpoints, opinions and etc of the rest of the community - especially communities as huge as the furry fandom - but yet people tend to paint the entire community as that tiny part anyhow
