I mean, since I was 5. Aphonia means I can't make audible vocal sounds due the injury I susained at that age. I've worked around it with ASL, typing, making whistleing and non vocalised sounds, but the chatbax is a game changer for me. I can just type the words and not struggle to get someone on discord etc to say or see what I am typing.

Yeah, and chatbox helps not only with that but also for communcating with players that are on VR

You can communicate much more quickly and the ones on VR don't have to take off their headset to see the screen where they have discord on

And you don't have to slowly write each letter

I have 4 head sets, 3 controller sets, 3 full body pucks, a kinnect v2 leapmotion, and a few other vr control slatted items. I've been doing VR stuff for many years with my diability using all sorts of hacks and work arounds to communicate, up to and including actual ASL, and thus far, this chat box has been the easiest out of the box work around I've found. Again, before this, Altspace with it's chat to individual was the "easiest". VRChat made it better.

also try to calibrate one tracker first then turn the rest on, they should track correctly if the first one was properly calibrated!

*Reflective surfaces

The last one is mostly a problem with the cool tundra dongles as far as i know

but what baffles me is that the waist is the only one that flings, never and i mean never had one of my foot trackers flung off into space

Yeah. Could it happen that you get your body inbetween the dongle and the tracker

And how are your dongles oriented? From my testing I get a better experience if I have them standing up, like in the little table thing you get with it. I have mine mounted under my table currently pointing straight down. No problems for me there.

And lastly. Do you have any reflective surfaces.

i do have my dongles on waist level,they are like behind me all the time. dongles are on the original stands a good 1 meter away from my pc, and i do have a chandelier but no mirrors.

One thing i saw is that a particular shader i won't mention, but got shared around a lot of people, is pretty fkn long, uses a single pass for an emissi9n function without any vertex offset, and istead of switching coordinates between an array, it recalculates the coordinates individually and then uses lerp to switch between all of them
So basically i reduced it by 180 limes, and if i removed a function that idk whi did it have tl be calculated on runtime it would be 5 or 7 lines

Need to ask where a friend of mine even got his shader from because he isn't versed in shader code at all or for any matter anything development related.. but the shader itself applies a mass effect field kinda effect on the whole map which distorts the reality around you and turns the map into the best rave i've ever seen with multiple transitions it goes on for about 4-5 minutes yet extremely lightweight very optimized yet most crash because its absolutely over the top, the whole point of it was to see if he could crash me which he failed to do as he ended up crashing himself lols

I think the exodus of the mature player base will only further ruin VRchat due to the high influx of kids.

doing that would be incredibly expensive. The game gets ~70-80k concurrent users on the weekends, with the overall number of players per day/week/etc being much higher. That is a lot of large, expensive-to-store audio, most of which would be completely useless anyhow

thats super strange. I would guess it is one of a few things which i would check.

1. make sure all the animations are done correctly (especially if you made the animation yourself)
2. make sure the values for the animator are functioning correctly.
3. double check paramater menu to make sure they are getting triggered.
4. make sure the menu is accessing the correct files.

If all of that doesnt fix anything, go back to basics and do it ground up. Sometimes trying to find the issue is harder than building it back up.
