But it's becuase the system is built-in to VRC and there's been ongoing concerns of various groups using external verification methods that may or may not meet VRChats security and quality standards, and because that's all hosted on the VRChat platform VRChat would then have to take responsibility for a service they literally know nothing about. Additionally I've personally seen some groups asking for users to show their ID to them which could then lead to doxing as individual groups aren't bound by the same laws that a company like VRChat would be, which then brings user safety and privacy into question.

However this is just my insight, I do not work for VRChat, I don't write the ToS or provide input into the decisions that go into it. I am just a volunteer community moderator.

WARP won't always work it may work for a bit but you may run into the same issue. Since the lock-out is based on IP. They are more likely to happen if you're using WARP or any other known VPN provider. A friend of mine who runs an online movie theater via Garry's Mod has compiled a list of things that make it more likely to happen. I added to the list based on info I know as well.

• Using a VPN or any known proxy service.
• Watching a lot of videos (no exact frequency), especially back to back.
• Interacting with the website while blocking or filtering elements.
• Using an external browser that isn't Chrome. (Theory, untested).
• Consistently spoofing various clients (YTDLP does this).
