Quest Pro is the best way to go if you want it built in. This has been discontinued though so you'll only find one secondhand. Other options are Pico 4 Pro/Ultra and Vive Focus Vision but these are not as good.

Generally sensible headset: Quest 3 is the best value for your money by a long shot currently

I already thought getting a USB A to C adapter for the mic’s USB A adapter, then get a USB C dual splitter for the USB C adapter and still able to charge the headset with my battery head strap

Will this actually work considering the Quest supposedly now supports any USB external mics?

wait so you said... usb microphone is hooked up to usb c with an adapter, and you're plugging that in directly into a usb c splitter (other wise a hub) but usually on the splitter one is data.... and one is power... i mean if i got that right it sounds possible.... meow

I do want to get an external mic, especially this one from AntLion that a friend uses with their Quest Pro, but ofc plays the PCVR version cuz the Quest Pro internal mic is worse than the Quest 2 one
