I liked that it can be played only in first person including the cutscenes, I honestly think it did that part better than HL2. The original braindance effects were better too but they had to tone em down unfortunately. you can still get screen tearing with GSync if you turn vsync off. Apparently somewhere along the way they decided that vsync should be on with GSync so it can take over when frames dip under and vsync hasn't got it's 60fps. What I do is put vsync on, gsync on, then if I can I set my fps to 59 so gsync always handles it

so sure, it wasnt quite as good as the original but it was a solid attempt at a sequel

but point is, Unreal 1 had a ton of atmosphere and introduced all the lore and had awesome weaons memorable enough to be staples for the series, including within the UT games
the new weapons introduced in Unreal 2, i dont think ever were reused in any UT games lol... at least i certainly dont remember
