I think it would be cool if they would parse the input and use machine learning to come up with an appropriate response. There's a lot of reasons why it might crash which are impossible to debug without knowing what the asset is, how you created it/got it, what the actual crash message is, etc. etc.

But yeah moving to a more recent engine would be good if you can

Staying in older UE4 version is more justified for projects that heavily use C++, they change a huge chunk of the API and lots of API calls were deprecated and removed spanning 10 minor versions.

It's less true with BP only stuff.

hmmm, that's not entirely wrong, but, you are probably spending that time somewhere else, and that often helps more than 24/7 art and info consumption, as retaining and realising how to use those in other areas is better and more "artistic or technical", what i am saying is, some time away helps develop what you consume in one thing. but again dw too much. it's all just a food for thought
