metasploit is primarily intrusion detection tho. So it's more of a rebounder firewall in terms of hacks. But it's more complicated than that in terms of usage. Your average script kiddie won't be using it. As for having Kali linux running on a virtual machine thats a load of bs. You need to have supported hardware, of which a childs computer wouldn't have necessarily at this time, and for it to be turned on in the bios explicitly, and an operating that supports it (windows 10, recent update) not to mention the hack would then have to silently install the virtual machine that installs the Kali, which then has to be setup silently, etc etc.
I'm sure some kid somewhere could figure out all this but the danger level is probably less than being attacked by a terrorist, which is less than being attacked by almost everything else in the world.
