You search the two Hearts of Iron IV folders in your pc, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
and you right click on them and select delete.

Nah it has nothing to do with internet. He has very good Internet. The same problem is also with another Friend who has the best Internet of us but win 10. Pc specs are all on same and the two guys with win 10 have better pcs than me or the win 11 friend

I ended up fixing it but with another way (letting the game crash, opening the autosave and i just kept on saving the game like every hour until it stopped crashing)

So you can have an 8 core rig, but if it isn't a newer generation the game will still run slow.

Max speed runs the game as fast as your computer can handle, so it will always give low fps
The only way to play the game at a mostly consistent 40-60 fps is by going down to 4 speed or lower

Right I have an issue with multiplayer right now, whenever I join a server, when I click on a division and move it the game doesn't let me do anything. I can open focus trees and look at tech trees, even select divisions, but I cant give orders, I can't select focuses and I can't select technologies. this is crippling multiplayer for me. I've done a fresh install of the game, installed the updates, even updated my PC and for some reason its still happening. Anyone have any ideas on whats causing this or better yet how to fix? This only happens in multiplayer by the way.

3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders

4- Restart your pc

3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders

and that i was typing, im testing it rn and it worked, either because i deleted BOTH folders now, or because i skipped launcher ( i didnt know the game had another folder)

some corrupted file or script event probably modified by rt56. in those case the only way is to follow EXACTLY the steps I linked before (third step the most important one)

all mods can corrupt files, the more they modify the game the more possibilities they have to damage something important and leaving it corrupted when they are unsubscribed.

I get to the beginning of war in the tutorial and my game crashes. I am a new player playing the tutorial and this is the second time this has happened. Any advice? My PC is relatively new (got it a year ago) and runs more complicated games (cs, valorant) just fine.

Every mod I tried to installed doesnāt work and the error is ācouldnāt find a descriptor fileā. I looked into the folders and the .mod file for every mod I installed recently was missing. I uninstalled and reinstalled every mod and it still doesnāt work
I found out that only some mods has this error
Others work fine
I donāt know whatās going on but my PC has a history of screwing itself up often
Some mods I downloaded was missing SFXs entirely
Other mods like Red flood worked fine before but suddenly didnāt work

it is normal, the agency for spies is in La Resistance DLC, while the oppose hitler focus path is in Waking the Tiger DLC
NSB gives the officer corps and the tank designer, and some focus three like poland and baltic countries
