i have the mefo bill spirit there as an example (and a screenshot from a youtuber showing what its supposed to look like) but its the same for every screen that would have a popup when hovering over something

Is there a bug where you lose manpower from foreign volunteers? Went Kaiser Germany and USSR sent volunteers. I lost hundreds of thousands to France when I wasn’t even fighting them. Not garrison losses, not convoy or air losses, all combat losses despite my battle log showing no losses against France. I tag switch to Soviet to check their volunteer battle log, and it shows they haven’t experienced any combat or combat losses with a 100% ratio, despite them charging the maginoit line constantly. Anyone ever encounter a bug where, even when you have the relevant research, a unit type doesn't appear in the division designer?

Most often I've encountered this whenever I've received a template with said unit type via decision or focus, that has the unit before I have it researched.

Edit: Found a solution , "research_on_icon_click" then just click the tech that unlocks the unit. It'll work even if its already researched and will properly unlock the unit.

Hello, can someone help me with this "error"? Since Gotterdammerung was released, my battle plans don’t end on the drawn line. If I make an attack plan, the states that are on the line are not attacked and are excluded from the drawn plan. It’s quite inconvenient, especially when I want to push a front near a river or a railway line, and I have to manually adjust a state behind where it should be.

when you've used mods on a save, it's better to start a new rather than forcefully rip out the mods from the save as it'll generally break stuff

The first time I searched up on the HOI4 reddit and It told me to delete things from my files then undownload and redownload HOI4, but that just deleted my mod. Hello I recently got hoi4 and it won't stop crashing. I play for a while normally then it just crashes. I have attached the crash logs below. It's always the same thing like Turkey having invalid ideas. I tried reinstalling, verifying files, deleting the hoi4 file. Nothing has worked. My Nvidia drivers are all up to date and have been reinstalled once. Does anybody know what I could do to fix this issue? the DLCs used are aligned on the host's, no matter the DLCs that the other players have
if you don't have DLCs but the host does and vice-versa you'll be able to play together anyway based on the DLCs the host has

that's probably because of hardware issues/limitations. For example, installing HOI on a SSD instead of HDD will basically halve the loading time
mods can also significantly increase loading time, especially if conflicting with each others

It happened to me quite a few times in the last few days, that my game crashed on attacking/battle plan execution trigger, or moving divisions to help italian civil war. It happened during playing Road to 56 mod, but also during a new singleplayer playthrough when turning all the mods off. It hasn't happened in multiplayer yet, only in singleplayer. I tried verifying the game files and turning off all the mods and creating a new save game from the start, yet it still happened during declaring war and moving into poland as germany. It is at the desired number, when I turn on auto reinforcement, it'll cause ships in the reserve to overflow the task force, then all of the ships, not just the ones that were previously in the reserve, to go to the reserve. This only happens for the battleship and light cruiser class ships, not the destroyer or carrier class ships.

so i get a blue screen in windows any time i do these actions:

• press on friends in main menu of Hoi4
• open the multiplayer browser and klick on any button to load the server list

It will load for 1 second. I can see some results pop in and then it instantly crashes to blue screen and i have to restart the pc.

I only played with TNO Map Mod but removed it completely. Same result. Repaired the game through steam. Still same problems.
Any help is welcome.

Recently updated my PC and HoI4 started freezing terribly. The game itself moves very quickly, however every couple of seconds it just stops in one place and I am unable to do anything. Hey anyone know how to get decisions available again? Im playing germany defeated USSR and all but then the reichskommissariats like ostland ukraine and caucasus are only left with their capital, so I annexed them trough cheats so that I could reform them with all their lands again through decisions (cuz Im not feeling like doing that in the peacedeal) but Im guessing a check in the savefiles makes it impossible for me to recuperate the decision to form the reichskommissariats. Anyways I can always just go back to the savefile and redo it but I'd really like to know and maybe learn smth

Listen. My PC is from 2013 and earlier (custom) and it runs with every conceivable QoL mod and form of chaos just fine, runs online while all DLCs are active just fine as well, whatever you have is going to be just fine.
