step 2: go to paradox website and install the launcher

hello! me and one of my friends are trying to play in a multiplayer lobby together to play but it says the wrong version. Our bolivar things are the same its justt the numbers in paraenthesis's (his was taken in the launcher which is why it looks different) Were using R56, same mods and all but it wont work.

so sometimes its an issue that can be solved by deleting the paradox folder in documents (copy out save files if you want to keep them) then just verify game files and boot it back up

if you're not on steam then you maybe be able to manually install the mods but even then I'm not sure that the mods will get loaded without launcher action

there isn't much about this I could find online so I'd say : unsub from the mod, clean wipe the file (manually remove it entirely) then restart steam (real restart, not just close-open) then start it again and download the mod once more

They all crash at different points but they're consistent

ther ehave been a lot of patches recently, try to rollback to that version and see if it still crashes

Recently my Hoi4 has just crashed every time I select a nation and start a game. I have tried every single fix known to the game. I’ve uninstalled , deleted all hoi4 files in my pc, unsubscribed from all mods, put graphics on lowest settings, changed renderers, ran both steam and hoi4 as admins and compatibility modes, verified file integrities, cleared game caches, turned off all DLCs, Nothing works. Just pure vanilla and crashes every single time I choose a nation and start. My PC is completely compatible and I’ve played it on it before. I am out of ideas and luck and absolutely no solution.
Error Logs in the crash section of my hoi4 folder if it helps.

When I run the launcher, it looks like the first image, so I try to open it from Steam, but this time it gives the warning in the second and third images consecutively. Yea. The weirdest thing is that you've had 4 different errors pop up somehow. Best bet would probably be to delete the launcher, all the launchers files and do a full reinstall of the game

Hello, i am experiencing trouble with mod making. So basically i cannot "live" edit my mod instead i have to make a change in the files and then upload the mod to the workshop, remove the files from game's mod folder and play the workshop downloaded version. There i can see the changes, but this process takes way too long and it slows down my progress. The issue starts when i place the mod files in the game's mod folder. When i look at the playsets i can see the mod there, but the icon is set to default one and when i start the game with the mod it just loads up as a vanilla game with no changes except censoring hitler. I’ve uninstalled , deleted all hoi4 files in my pc, unsubscribed from all mods, put graphics on lowest settings, changed renderers, ran both steam and hoi4 as admins and compatibility modes, verified file integrities, cleared game caches, turned off all DLCs, Nothing works. Just pure vanilla and crashes every single time I choose a nation and start. My PC is completely compatible and I’ve played it on it before. I am out of ideas and luck and absolutely no solution.

Having an issue where my friends and I cannot join each others servers, and we have tried everything we could think of, but it just keeps saying "connection Timed Out"

• joining random lobbies (which actually worked oddly)
• we have checked and double checked every setting we could find in game and in the launcher

It simply worked one night, we turned off our pcs (correctly), all worked the next day, got home, booted pcs, and it wasn't letting us play. None of us did anything pc related between our sessions other than a long delayed restart. All at seperate addresses, not LAN/WAN seemed to be an issue with only the three of us as we couldn;t find anything related online and all 3 of us could join random matches just fine.

Hi all, im facing for several months the problem of desynch during MP matches. After around 1944 i keep desynching every 30 sec. I already wrote to the Paradox support team and i've done all the changing they asked me, that are: using the NakamaMP; changing connection; changing PC; open some modem port; use a VPN; writing on the community forum; using mod for stabilizing the game. After all this im still not able to play the game in MP. Do someone have any suggestions? Thanks (P.S I've always played with Vanilla game and all dlcs)

good enough to run hoi4, not the best though, around 20% better then the i5-750 witch is the min cpu for hoi4

Less tech support and more that I want to submitna bug I found. For some reason as Ethiopia once I reached level 7 in the escalation of war against Italy, it didn't go up. It stayed at 6. I checked to see if anything had made it go down, but after counting all the checks I should have been at 7 and not at 6 again.

Also, the Italo-Ethiopian war abrubtly ended out of nowhere for no discernable reason at some point after that. I hadn't vapitulated nor had I forced Italy back. We were still at war and everything, just that everything specific to the Italo-Ethiopian war just... stopped. No more escalation happened and all the buffs/debuffs relating to it disappeared.
