So good news with the new Beta
Despite the fact paradox didn't list it; it seems that the General and Admiral Paranoia is fixed
Just did a playthrough of russia and it worked perfectly

I got my answer and only reason I joined chat was for this. @fickle igloo release notes make no mention to issue being fixed but it "seems" like it has been. Yeah I pinged people I assumed worked on the game since those are the people who probably fix issues. "Wow", "Such Wow". Anyways, not going to waste more energy than I have here since you seem to be wanting to ruminate on this convo. instead of solutions like some others have provided today. Most likely the Mod wasn't updated to last Map changes that occurred in the BBA DLC. The Mod is using older State Numbers because some were changed in BBA because they added states to Switzerland and Italy

the game is hosted on your machine, the more people the join, the more likely it gets that your connection to one of them is bad which influences game speed. The only real fix to this is better Internet.

Well that's the thing. The person who hosts has great internet, gets like 30 mb download speeds(tested), has ethernet and all that. It is possible though that people desync cause he likes to run the game at 5 speed all the time.

My friend has this weird problem that has been persisting for around 4 months now, he is unable to play the game, it crashes after the loading bar due to map assets (see image attached), we have tried everything in the list and much more including uninstalling, verifying game files, clearing mod lists so on and so on.

Hey people, I have got a problem. Whenever I close HOI4**/Paradox Launcher, the Steam application thinks that the game/launcher is still running and does not change its "activity" to the right one. Restarting the PC didn't do much of a help since after some time It once again began to "glitch". But, I have found out that If you put "-nolog" in HOI4's Launch Parameters, then It will solve this problem. The Steam Client shouldn't ever "glitch" after this, but still, I can not confirm this for others. I am leaving this message for those users, who might face this issue in the future

1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
4- Open Windows Settings and search on the Applications if the Paradox launcher is still in the list, if it is uninstall it.
5- Restart your pc
6- Install the game again
7- Try if it works

Hello! I need your help. When I try to play Hearts Of Iron 4 in multiplayer mode with my friends and we start the time and my game freezes and the ping starts jumping around 10000ms and 20000ms, altough I can interact with the ingame elements. 3. Move the mod, save games, Screenshots folders, as well as career profile files to somewhere else on the drive. (If these don’t exist or you don't care, ignore this step)
4. Delete everything in the Hearts of Iron IV folder.
5. Put all the moved files and folders back in.
6. Launch the game again.

Me and my friend have tried playing the game and nothing seems to be working we have googled it cleared the cache, re installed the game, disabled mods, his specs are up to date, his laptop is brand new and he doesn't have any viruses yet when i join his game and he unpauses it crashes any of you guys got ideas

Good night. I´m havving problems with my game version of HOI4. And because of that I am not able to access multiplayer games with my friends. When I open the launcher, the game version is v1.12.6 (a6ba), and when I start the game the version changes to v1.12.6.46b6 (aee6). It's not always those numbers and letters, sometimes it's others but they always change. That's why whenever I try to play multiplayer, these variants are different and I can't play even though I'm in the same version. To get an idea, it's not just with my friends, to test it, I've tried to enter several public multiplayer games and it didn't work. I've already checked the integrity of the files, I've updated the game, I've changed the version, I already tried to reinstall and I haven't had any results. If anyone can help me I will be very grateful.
