I have currency that I've found in a map and when I try to put in my stash, it defaults to putting it in my public stash tab rather than my private one. Any idea why?

stash has a thing called "affinities" which allows certain things to go straight to certain tabs, if turned on
you can bypass it with ctrl-shift-click when stashing things, but you can also turn affinities on/off on stash tabs

by right-clicking each tab (or whatever console equivalent is)

Click on the "Direct Whisper" button on the item in question. If the person is ready and willing they'll send you an invite to their party. Then you can click on the little icon in their name box to go to their hideout. The other person will find the item and open a trade window for you to put your offer in. After the trade you should choose to leave the party and transport back to wherever.

Finished campaign, have completed a few maps. As a monk. Still rocking a level 39 chest piece because all the armor drops just completely suck. Even maps is just dropping me garbage gear and everything i gamble and enhance turns out garbage too. Im way too much of a glass cannon to really progress further with such low level gear. Where does all the half decent gear drop? Or is there such a thing? I got half a dozen orange bits of gear in my full playthrough and each time they were 20 levels below me and just junk too. Is that anyone elses experience?

If you want better drops, you should build some rarity gear. As a bonus you’ll start dropping more exalts which can be used to buy better gear

There’s a bunch of decent stuff out there for 1-50 exalts that can get you to higher tiers, maybe even up to tier 15 maps

there are mirror shard? idk how you call them and mobs are more difficult

its just like a delirum mirror just without the mirror and you dont get destiled emotions

you're doing something wrong, yes - make sure you're using your highest level waystones on stuff like boss maps with high waystone% (2-300+)

besides that, every waystone should be either regaled (3 mods) or alch'd (4 mods) minimum when doing t9+

and you should have some waystone%/+waystone tier/etc. nodes on your atlas tree

hey all, another question regarding mapping since I've only done 5 map nodes so far. Will there be any time in the future where I will be farming a singular map node with multiple tower buffs on it by leaving before completion, then inserting a new waystone into that map? Also, is it true that breach and boss modifiers for nodes only disappear on death, but if you portal out you can run that node again with the modifier intact? Thanks again.

It's your choice if that's a risk you want to run, because corrupting it could remove a slot, do nothing, raise or lower the gem level, all kind of nonsense,

Personally, I'd get a new lv18 gem, add a lesser and the greater, quality it, and leave it at that. Having an uncorrupted version leaves it open to getting a perfect orb when that drop graces you. You might not go up in power from it, but you'd keep your options open that way.

If a greater jewellers is expensive for you I wouldn't bother vaaling it. Just better off making all of your important skills a 5 link first, then when you start getting spare greaters you can gamble (and if it goes real bad use the greater on a spare skill gem). And yeah keep in mind you can't Quality or Perfect it when corrupted. And I'm gonna guess Gem Quality is also expensive for you atm, so just leave it until that's maxed too

I just read this : Curse skills in Path of Exile 2 have an activation delay after being cast before their debuff takes effect on the targets. This delay will be modifiable through modifiers on the passive skill tree. However, the curse activation delay can be bypassed entirely by utilising other methods of curse application such as Blasphemy, a persistent buff meta gem which applies socketed curse debuffs as an aura in an area around the character. Does it mean, blasphemy has no activation delay on curses, it shows one currently, wonder if I was using despair and temporal chains and allocated whispers of doom, if I was able to use hexblast(because it needs curse to cast) every under 1sec

I of course know what my character values and thereby understand that those things are valuable, but for example ranger or melee characters I have no clue. For most weapons Added Phys + (normal + hybrid?) Increased Phys for prefix and attackspeed on suffix are golden.

Personally, i usually look for Added Phys, Increased Phys and Inreased Elemental.

for attack weapons dps is always the overriding factor

that's the same whether it be mace, bow, crossbow, or quarterstaff

for mace + level is 5% dps for normal skills and 10% dps for hotg

and +7 is very valuable for totem stuff, esp. in conjunction with red. attr req for giants strength

crit is not used for maces, attack speed is but less so than for other weapons

ele prefixes arent very valuable on maces although fire can be okay

for quarterstaves crit chance attack speed and crit damage are all very desired, you can factor them in about equal to % DPS

and similarly + levels are about 5% dps but less desired than so because of big mana costs

ele prfixes are good on quarterstaves, as well as inc. ele dmg with attacks if the magntude is high enough

for bows + projectile suffix jacks up the price, there are crit versions but not as many as quarterstaff so they're reduced in importance

attack speed still quite important, dps is still overriding factor

similarly for crossbows you really just want to look for big dps, big wed prefix can be useful as well

crit similarly less used, it's only really important for quarterstaves

I'm really poor and idk any knowledge about anything, poe2 is my first arpg/poe experience
i see a lot of people with very god like builds that costs more than 100divs (in the lowest status) but i only got 2 divs after 300h of playing. i really need help, my character is weak, idk what are the best items to buy, and how to have a great build...

General knowledge right now is to focus on breach, item quantity/rare monsters/pack size/item rarity on your tablets and waystones, find good tower clusters and clear out the bad maps before activating your tablets, first just focus on progressing your endgame quest, getting some levels and accruing some smaller currency. Really you can turn profit farming anything so the more important part is that you're running something you actually like to play.

The important thing is that your divs will largely not come from raw Divine Orb drops, but rather liquidating your other currency, selling items, selling fragments (breachstones, expedition currency, delirium emotions etc etc.)

For currency you have multiple choices, such as rituals, juiced breaches, citadels, trial of sek, trial of chaos etc.. Rituals is what requires the least effort/investment, try to prioritize corrupted/irradiate ritual nodes and be on the look out for audience of the king and other expensive omens.
As for how to improve your character, it might take some effort but you need to figure out what is the best way to invest your currency for progressing further, how to optimize you passive tree as well as how to efficiently price items for both selling and buying (e.g. by using weighted searches).

Statistically, there's about a 50/50 chance of you having gotten that item by the 4th attempt, assuming it's a 16% chance each time ([1-0.16]^4)

I don't know. I'm not sure it's accurate to say that each item has an approximate drop rate, since the drop rate will depend on your item rarity modifier. Obviously there's some base drop rate at 0% item rarity, but I'm not aware that this information is publicly accessible. I'm sure someone else will chime in if I'm way off
