is there an updated guide for map layouts during campaign for fast campaign ?
Layouts are changing in a week.
I know they change but some of the layouts do have static base layout (Grelwood checkpoints are mostly square layout every patch) . Also I just wanna have an idea on what optional stuff can I skip (don't need to do worm boss in mud burrow If I don't need extra skill gem) etc ... I'm just looking for like an overall guide for trying to get through campaign fast
I mean some base layouts are changing, act 3 is getting re-structured, some areas are getting new exits. You can check the wiki for quest rewards that are worth doing or just do the ones that give permanent upgrades and have the + symbol on the map.
need to do 3rd floor
ohh okay thank you
Is it preferable to tackle vaal ruins early or mid game?
at any point when you have 6 beacons tbh
Not a new player at all but I respecced and accidentally gutted my single-target damage, so now I'm struggling to kill the last campaign boss (Cuachic Vault). Is anyone willing to carry me?
question what do i do in the vaal temple i just finished clearing what i could
then you're done!
Do another 6 circles and run it again
it'll get bigger and harder each time
how do i do that
Yup. You're done. Leave.
so the progression is permanent?
I'm not sure what you're asking
the areas i put down before i went in
Yeah, some of those will be deleted, most stay until next time
some rooms might destabilise (get deleted) when you leave
ok cool a lot of thing changed since 0.2 and now it feels a lot better
Big update coming next week that will be changing a lot.
silly question probably, but is there a regex for talismans? I was checking the poe2 re website and I don't see any 'talisman' category
what does rage do?
basically gives you more attack, think of it like an additional 30% attack when you get 30 Rage
thx
You can hold ALT and mouse over underlined words for more info.
Please, I'm still stuck on the same boss, I really need a carry 😭
Upgrade your weapon that’s easy extra dps
my weapon is alright
Wow what’s the struggle then if not dmg
No it's damage, my build just doesn't really work yet. I'm doing a janky detonate dead build paired with sacrifice, blowing my own minions up. I've got lvl 19 brutes with about 6k health, but it's still not enough damage at all for these two, since they both have healing methods, and my minions take a few seconds to revive. I get clear speed by killing weak enemies and then detonating those to finish off the tankier ones, but these guys don't have any adds either, so I'm in a pickle.
Hey whats the thing that makes my summons spawn corpses? I can't remember if its a notable or something else
Wtf is this jamanara guy
He just randomly 1 taps me
How are your resists?
He does a lot of lightning.
Resists and life. Check vendors, use artificer's orbs and runes, use crafting currency.
I've mostly been trying to hold on to the few uniques ive gotten
I've got 580 life and 150 shields
Unique doesn't automatically mean good. Getting max life and resistances are the bare minimum of survival.
I don't know if this is allowed, the content creator isn't myself, but I totally recommend anybody new to the game to check out Lolcohol's last three or four videos about PoE2, the dude does a very good job of explaining the crafting system in a digestible way in one, and gives good info on campaign progression combat and defense wise in two others. The crafting one in particular is extremely helpful for understanding the system.
By far the best resource I have found as far as videos go for it.
Hey how much health is my bogfelled commoner supposed to have?
Did you bind one that spawned from the unique boss? If not it'll have lower HP
Check poe2db for this info, should be able to find both variants
man i wish the characters were customizable
there's cosmetics
Is there a tech help channel by chance? havent played in a few months comming back and some settings are definitely off....
Anyone down to practice campaign speed run for league start?
be careful with that since a lot of layouts are changing
Did ggg say that? Hopefully smaller layouts lol
okay i and doing the build Level Faster with tips from POE2's FASTEST player that zizaran was show how to level faster. do not kno what support gems and gear items i need since build guide only show where put skill points in the tree.
Anyone play on steam deck?
buddy does, good for rerolling, casual farming. probably dont go opening any abyssal overrun maps
is gas grenade still a good option ?
Hello! Not sure where to post this. but planning to play when the update hits. I have a few questions.
a. How is the coop content? Can we play from start to finish?
b. Will there be a scaling of enemies, their health? What else gets scaled?
c. Is there another way to get an access key aside from buying from the store? My friend is looking forward to playing with me but I only bought the early access one.
Thank you so much!
everything but the very first zone (3 mins)
hp and loot gets scaled
im not sure what you're asking
I wish someone would post footage of deck running endgame, it 99.99% just the first three areas of act 1 as benchmarks
there are giveaways in places like reddit so your buddy can try getting lucky with one of these
you aren't forced to solo anything but the area you spawn in, but there may be situations where only the party leader gets certain rewards in the endgame.
I think Ritual is one example of the party leader getting the loot
there's technically couch coop so if your friend is like next door
Ohhh. Thank you! I will ask him to keep an eye on reddit. He badly wants to play that sometimes I do not tell him I am playing so he won’t be envious. 😅
Will they fix it on the coming update? Not sure where but I read endgame is quite difficult or unfair when it comes to coop?
if you're playing with a friend it's not really a problem
Oh uhh a neighboring city sadly.
coop with strangers is not good in poe
its better than it used to be, but less than good
question. whats the point in classes? just the starting point on the skill tree? or is there like exclusive things
its been awhile since i played
yeah ,starting point and more importantly the ascendancies (subclasses)
but any class can use any weapons and gems?
i see alot of people making league starters and guides for 0.5, is it worth doing it even before it launches? should i start playing now is it worth
people were waiting for the patch notes to make build guides and plan for a build , you could to practice/learn ,but at the league start you would have to make a new character to play in the 0.5 league , standard gets all the content except the new league mechanic
oke
Theres no new bosses in maps are there? Like all bosses are covered in campaign?
Some have variants such as lightning Blackjaw found in the tower map and frozen falls or glacier I forget
Otherwise you should have seen every boss design afaik
Good to know!
there are Pinnacle bosses
Oh the sekhemas and chaos i suppose
those are Zarokh and Trial Master , which I think also technically count as Pinnacle
there is Arbiter of Ash and the new Arbiter of Divinity
there is also Pinnacle boss for each of the engame mechanics
Xesht, Orloth, King in the Mists, Simulactrum, Kulemak, Atziri
there is also new Pinnacle bosses coming in 0.5 that will be above those mechanic bosses
Ah the old alt+f4 trick, still funny after 30 years lol
How come people are showing up on my screen in hardcore ssf? Thought you couldnt party?
Er maybe i cant and it just shows them
Alright the ai is starting to bullshit. How much health should i as a witch have at act 3?
its not just about health, its all of your defences combined.
resistances also become very high impact in act 3
Ok Gemini says lightning and fire is a problem here?
I wouldnt trust AI when it comes to build specifics , it can be very outdated and will give you advice based on something that was changed months ago
500-900
depends, it makes it harder to sustain mana but there are some ways to get around this
essence harvest support + infernal legion on skeletal warriors is one way, mana remnants is another way
probably just avoid it for now and rely on a solid Life Flask with some amount of Instant Recovery
and make sure you do not have a troll flask mod such as "removes from mana when pressed" or "give healing to your minions"
700 hp and resistances above 0 should allow you to spam flasks through most dangerous encounters, but not all. apex of filth boss, utzaal boss, and end of act boss will all hurt for about that much if you arent careful
hi, quick question: how complete is the game currently? Is there a full campaign, and is it worth hopping in now?
You should always be looking to improve your resistances. Lightning, fire, and cold should be as close to capped as possible at all times.
4 out of 6 acts in the campaign with placeholders and endgame is getting a massive overhaul on Friday.
oh and another question: is this game actually slower paced (leans closer into dark souls compared to poe1), my gripe with most arpgs is the chaos and insane ad clear spinny builds
It definitely starts slower but speeds up, but there is also more of an emphasis on combos instead of holding down one button. Depending on the build of course.
New league on Friday will be a great place to jump in and most purchases are shared between POE1 and POE2 if you already have stash tabs or anything.
good to know, i might hop in because monk seems very interesting, also waiting for a rogue and a sword class
There's Ranger and Huntress already. There is no rogue class. New full classes will likely be december unless they surprise us.
i know there isnt a rogue class, but do you mean currently or ever?
There will be no class called a rogue. But what is it you're expecting when you say rogue?
Shadow will also be coming.
D1, the rogue was the bow wielder. It means different things to different people. And we already have bows and all classes can use all skills and items and there is instant skill/weapon swapping with weapon sets for build variety.
is following a build as important as the first game
Not if you're reading stuff and finding synergies and not ignoring your life and resistances.
is guythatdies a good youtuber? gonna follow this build
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf6aG0ZbGOQ&t=178s

The Build: https://mobalytics.gg/poe-2/builds/twister-huntress-levelling

Full 1 to Maps Run: https://youtu.be/Yd2Um...
he is a great , but is a speed runner, so I wouldnt really recommend his guides for new players
he is mostly focusing on completion speed and new players should be playing slower and learn all the mechanics on the way, but you can still learn a bunch from his videos
I need some help on Jamanra boss in ACT 2
Armored, fire resistant and lightning resistant.
But here's the problem, im running a full on lightning build
I get to 50% hp on boss and then it gets tricky
Not to mention getting one shot when I have 60% lighting resistant
Use a curse or exposure to reduce resists. Or get lightning penetration. Builds punch through defenses, they don't usually change damage types.
If you have 60% res and he's one shotting you need more life or you aren't avoiding the big windup attacks where he glows red.
Ahh I see, I believe i have some elemental penetration albeit not enough to deal viable damage
You may just not have enough damage. Depends on gear, passives, gems.
I will have to go back to another map for lvl31 and farm some equipment
Specifically my gloves are low levels
Level doesn't matter, the stats on them do.
Check vendors.
Use crafting currency.
Im gonna have to farm some crafting materials. I have jewels to augument
Jewels require jewel slots which require passive points. You're better off getting passives and just try to get life and resists on all gear via transmutes, augments, checking vendors, using runes, etc.
On my tree I already have an open jewel slot, figured i try to tweak the jewel for some elemental penetration
Yesterday I was in act4 town, freshly logged in, I hit / to get a search going, and before I could start the search all the audio in my game cut out. It came back after a restart but happened a couple more times after that. I remember this happening in some conditions in POE1 as well. Is there a known fix for the audio dropout issue?
not new to game but doing the speed run that zirana posted but do not know what spirt to add. since all does show him going fast threw the act up to end act 3 and does not show what support and what skill gems stay at what level.
whats the best source for acts tutorial/tips you guys know? i wanna practice before league start
Go watch zirana youtube will has some old ones for 0.40
My personal tip IF you want to improve campaign.
Watch GuyThatDies, pick one of his build and shadow race him.
It has helped me improve and trim down down time.
Overall, just play more and understand why some things work, some don't and remember why
For more advanced tips check GuyThatDies, one of the best PoE 2 speedrunners
Just to add on, if you plan on going Hollow Palm monk, stick to armour based equipment, get armour/evasion hybrid after Hollow Palm swap and only start to go pure EV or EV/ES equipment in act 4
Is demon forms self damage fire damage?
Or is it a pure damage mechanic
Also does demon form's buffs affect spells on a trigger?
life loss is not taking damage
the buff doesn't specify that it doesn't affect triggered spells
I hate Freythorn boss, never again am I even attempting that without twink gear or before genor.
so guys idk what to play spirit walker or martial art ?
I terms of power, Spirit Walker's the bigger mystery because we don't know how strong most of the companions are. Especially the boss ones. So it could be really strong but it's really hard to say
Martial Artist we know the numbers on almost everything and it looks good
So I would say Spirit Walker is a bigger gamble, but it definitely looks really cool and has pitential
Does +minion damage affect infernal legion?
anyone got Korbyn the monk master a discord? Should I follow hes guide for Monk starter or the videos he posted? few supports arent same in both of them
nvm, im blind, disord is in hes video description 🙂
Are the builds up to date?
Supports have changed between major updates.
Im assuming no free weekend this league? I was hoping to introduce some friends to the game, but havent seen confirmation of ti
I’m looking for a website for a builds I’m fairly new to path of exile 2.
Mobalytics and Maxroll are 2 of the main ones
Thank you!
anyone a bit techy here i got a question here and there i get these spikes makes the game freeze for a frame or 2 and the usage goes up should i downgrade the graphics or look into something else
If you didnt know fridays update will add a feature to let you import files for a build guide showing you what to do ingame. I assume those websites will quickly develop a tool for doing that easily, if they arent working on it already. Exciting times
yo, i'm rusty in poe 2. All the characters can grab 2 skills or a skill+support on the beggining before the bloated miller or only some?
Sometimes I find only 1 chests and others 2 chests depends on the class
at least that's what I remember
I think it depends on the class but its usually one skill unless you get an item that provides one.
i think the miller had a few too many pizzas
More than that really
They saw my queastion #poe2-news message
who would you recommend ...im a new player
thank youu
Fubgun makes good builds, but I just dont like him 😅
Whats everyones starter legue i am torn between monk ma or witch lich 🙈
I'm gona be playing with vegetables again 🥬 🥬 🥬
I was thinking chaos plants lol
Lich Plants are really good, but I am going Oracle
Indeed im going lich version as witch has some really good builds like but also feeling monk ma but melee is 💩
I will def try the new Monk later, and Spirit Walker
Yeh guna read more into it. Me and friends doing playthrough together aswell
I want one button build thats all lol
After d4 kills hands like 🤣🤣🤣
just be aware that Geonor scaled to multiple players is no joke
free weekend means the servers are gonna die day 1, and the queue will be 3x longer 💔
nah , last time the queue was 400K+ people on league start and I got ingame in like 20 min
Does this mean the $400 pack will be 50% off?
I wouldnt expect that
on Steam only the $30 one is actually called Early Access Supporter Pack,
the other ones have specific names
was there a thing where the Hooded One shows up and talks ??
idk
Geonor?
Question, just got IronGrasp Vagabond armor. Running witchhunter, would it be good to use for awhile or nah
Have you fought Jamanra in act 2 yet?
At least he stays on the map the whole fight
I'm level 50 and I feel like the quality of the gear from world drops has gone down, I have been using essences and orbs of alchemy to get better stuff but I keep getting trash mods. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I don't want to go on the trade market because I know this game can be played without it
if ur doing iron man then ur pretty much fucked 😭
its not quality of gear gone down, but ur luck
XD
I don't know what doing iron Man means but okay I guess I'll just keep playing
ironman is not buying anything from other players
id highly suggest buying it though, even some 1 alch items can be goated
its a challgenge btw
So SSF
Are iron grip or iron grasp useful to you? Being a mercenary means nothing for that armor.
oh yeah my bad
negative HP chest
Gambler vendor can help out occasionally or buying a white base, hitting it with a transmute/augment, if you get bad mods, start over. When you get good mods keep going with essences and abyss crafting and other tools. If you end up with a good item, artificer and socket runes.
its expensive asf though, he would prolly be able to buy like only 2-3 depending on the type of item
Figured as much
I mean yeah you only do it as able, and use it in conjunction with floor loot and anything else. Its a tool box..
That can happen. Max life and resists are priorities on gear, look for increasingly better weapons, movement speed on boots, and read everything and look for synergies between skills for big damage.
Getting no life from strength is painful too.
@trim turret I will look into abyss crafting! That's a good tip to buy white bases and not fully commit because that's what I've been doing I feel like I've been wasting a lot of exalted orbs hoping I get a good mod
Blue item with two good mods is better than a yellow with four shitty ones.
I feel like my damage is good but my maximum life is awful
When i read the first one it reminded me of the poe1 marauder with bow or duelist with a bow
Strength and flat life on gear.
So I was like nah I need life
I am cruising through act 4 but if I get hit it's rough but my resistances are almost capped, although there are a lot of socketed resistance
Which absolutely can be builds, but you have to build around it. You don't throw it on on a whim.
Rn I have flat life and life gain on hit for sustainability
That's ok, that's what the sockets are for.
It's even easier to use the "wrong" weapon successfully since you decide what attribute nodes do.
Okay cool I think I'm going to save a lot of currency by not full committing to gear that's not at least decent
is there a guaranteed greater jeweler in campaign?
Life on hit and mana on hit has been great for me
I have some things that are level 17 💀💀
If the mods are good, don't matter.
Yeah thats the bum part when you level up and you have to find tge gear akin to your needs
yeah thats true
I'm looking through the leveling guide and are the names of the gear What determine the mods that can roll on it? Or are they just how they look
Item tier or mod tiers?
The base type and item (not required) level determines possible mods. Rare item names are random.
Both actually since ive seen only 2 t2 quartstaffs
you talking about this?
So lower tier is better for mods, higher tier items remove possible lower/bad mods.
@trim turret ahh okay that could be another reason why I've been struggling with gear because I've only been looking for gear that's been matching the leveling guide
Yeah ive seen them around
that means it cannot roll the absolute worst mods anymore
If you're getting roughly what you need in terms of mods you're fine. Don't sweat base types.
the higher the tier the higher tier the mods
Oh sweet!
I see
@trim turret Okay cool I think I have a slightly better understanding than before
you won't identify a tier 3 mace and get 2-4 cold damage
More resources = can be more particular.
Speaking of resources I just got a Divine orb and the screen went crazy and it blew out my eardrums, but from what it says it does it doesn't seem like it's that great of a crafting tool? I know it's basically the higher end trade currency I just don't get it
It has value because it is basically the $100 bill of trading. You can take a divine and once you hit post-campaign buy pretty much an entire gear set for early mapping to get you started.
Depending on the current rate of exchange to exalts that is.
this league is prolly extremely low
high i mean
cause divs are 100000% more common than ex
Whoa really?? I just got to the second island in act 4, I'm assuming I'm going to get more so I'll just exchange it?
also after campaign id highly recommend using market
they are extremely rare drops
ppl generally dont get more than 10 dropping in a league
Most money is made by selling stuff for divines or exalts or whatever. Currency exchange will unlock in your hideout in act 4.
gonna be weird if the game just starts dropping a div every other map
Oh so how are they more common than EX then?
they aren't if you aren't minmaxing the current league mechanic
Not really. I think that was a facetious statement.
Ahh okay, love those when I'm looking for advice
They are increasing their drop rate this week they said.
I wonder why?
Basically hang onto it until you're through act 4, see what you need and get a rough idea of what it costs.
they think it will be better for the economy overall ig?
Or because temple is getting adjusted and they want raw drops to matter instead of just side mechanic strategies.
Nothing like opening a random ass chest and hearing that noise.
I like the N font
any one got extra currency? i need to upgrade my gear really bad
@trim turret that temple thing is the most confusing thing I've done this entire league
We don't do that here and a new league is starting in a week.
There are still whole mechanics I basically ignore in POE1.
@trim turret The only mechanic I think is cool is whatever one is like wave-based? And I saw a video of POE1 where you go down mineshafts and it gets harder the further down you go that looks cool
lmao, like which one?
sorry im just curious...
I actively dislike heist. Don't do temple much anymore. I'm a big blight fan. Wife loves monolith and abyss so we sometimes split our trees accordingly.
is there a guaranteed greater jeweler in campaign?
There's a guy that does the mine (delve) all league, every league.
omg blight... i just got like flashbacks :0
I don't think I could have that be the only thing but blight also looks cool! Whatever thing it's called that you break the mirrors makes no sense
POE2 blight when?
Delirium. Creates a smoke donut that expands. Deeper into the donut the monsters get tougher. When the smoke dissipates rewards drop.
Yeah I just did one on one of the islands and I got a bunch of diluted stuff 🤷🏻
Yeah so the emotions let you anoint. Which is what you do with oils from blight in POE1. I have trouble keeping up sometimes.
At some point we can't do both leagues anymore.
Just holding out as long as we can.
Is every notable anointable?
Should be.
According to my build guide I'm supposed to go for plus one for grenades but I'm on the other side of the tree that would be cool to get but at the same time my gear is constantly changing so I don't think it's worth it right now
when is next poe1 league so i know if i play or not this one
They stagger them so won't be until late July I think. No hard date yet.
I don't anoint until I have my forever amulet unless the anoint is super cheap.
If PoE1 isn't super delayed I'd guess, purely based on feeling, it's a month and a half away.
@trim turret can you only anoint on amulets?
a month and half damn
damn extremely close to poe2 league
wasnt it gonna be like 2 leagues a year?
each game
Nope, four months leagues that are staggered two months apart.
ohhh
3 leagues a year
Don't know in POE2. Rings in POE1 but they're blight specific mods.
Is POE1 the better game? I know it has been around for a lot longer but it seems so much more complicated but that's not a bad thing I like learning and playing
Better is subjective. POE1 has ten years of content but is also more about one button screen mulching. POE2 needs time to mature but the combat is more engaging and I like the gem system better.
When I swap to this unique , which is highlighted in my guide, I just got the damage numbers are dwarfed by this rare, Am I missing something?
@trim turret Okay I think after I "beat" this character I have I'll try poe 1
Uh, no. Rampart Raptor has far inferior damage. If the build uses that past early campaign, they must be making up the damage someplace else. Where did you get the build?
@trim turret Just by using it I feel like the rare is better but the raptor just shoots fast, The guide does mention it can fall off I just figured because it was around my level it would still be better than a rare But that's something I have to remember to really read
It's woolies run n gun witchHunter
Woolie's build uses Rampart for an early leveling unique
Based on the screenshot it looks like you're at least level 45, so no reason you should still be using this.
he specifically addresses the falloff in his guide
It's a shame I got it this far into the campaign then, I saw that part in the guide I just thought it being a higher level than the one in the guide it would be better
@unborn lava ty for clarifying I hate using my phone for the guide I can barely read it
Uniques have mostly fixed stats, item level does not matter.
Gotcha, I feel like I'm playing this game like I'm taking an Open book test by being in this discord which is awesome
yeah these two games are known for being extremely complicated
Question, I haven't played poe2 since EA release. Did they ever change permanent quest reward choices? I hated how you can potentially choose the wrong one and not change it later. Especially when you want to min/max in endgame.
some are still permanent, but i've heard they're working on making all of them changeable?
Would that be in 0.5?
i didn't see anything about it in the patch notes
should I prioritize getting more resistance the more I progress the campaign or focus on damage for now?
both
I’m a PoE1 player who has 40/40ed the campaign a few times. I’ve tried PoE2 a couple times, made it to maps a couple times, and just kind of bounced after that. Thought I would give it another go, and gave the huntress a shot with a thought of using that ww/twister combo. Got utterly taken apart very quickly. Are there any good “intro to how to fight until you are OP” vids?
so, a build guide?
I’ve got build guides, more like block timing on bosses, that kind of thing.
boss attacks that have a red flash can't be blocked
blocking is passive or active directional
active blocking will block 100% of hits from the direction you're facing, but will build up your heavy stun meter
passive block affects hits from any direction
I've been falling back on frost darts and ice nova on my sorcerer. Anything i should try or pick up?
I've tried flame wall, but it just feels so awkward to use as a buff
hey! is there a proper order i should visit the islands in for act 4? i hear I can get spoiled if done inproperly
would appreciate some advice/answer
Jamanra can kick rocks
By the way, a fellow gave me a nifty crossbow
I named my Mercenary BenitoMarkus
“Just look at the fog” he said it again in the 0.5 recap and man its irritating because its still mot clear to me. Theres fog everywhere!
You must traverse thy fog to see your goal!

you can see the fog moving specific directions
Theres this overlay/filters that moves as you do which trips me up
Suddenly every direction looks like the correct one
I may be able to use that new hud this to hot and cold it since it seems to only progress as you go the right way.
Ill just go get my eyes checked
shoutouts to markus
question what us the difference between the 2 because one is changing colours
the color, that's it
the item is from using a reliquary key
also the item level does that matter ?
doesnt matter
so it doesnt mean that i can't use it even if its higher level than me ?
usually there's a line says level requirement, differs from item level, this belt requires level 1 so i think it hides it
what do you guys think about stampede?
not much, but I do think your profile pic and username is idiotic
also what does corruption do?
I still wonder that, "corrupted" rather
here ya go
https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Corrupted
Corrupted is a special modifier and item tag. The process of making something corrupted is referred to as corruption.
Noob question, well I knew it at one point but forgot the answer lol. Chaos orbs are used for trades correct?
all the orbs can be used for trading , beside their original crafting function
I think imma utilize the trade section in poe2 than I did in poe1
most people trade for Exalted, Chaos, Annulment and Divine orbs
Cool, im in act 3, I assume ill get more drops as I go thru the acts
Running Witch Hunter merc
I keep seeing people crap on chaos orbs. I ended up with a +90% armor/evade using just 1. Maybe I got lucky. Didn't change that armor for over an act
Mercenary is fun ngl
Im actually trying to farm the orbs to tweak my witch hunter
if you are interested in how much is any currency (orbs) worth in a different currency you can check here :
https://poe.ninja/poe2/economy/vaal/currency
Explore Currency prices in the Fate of the Vaal league.
I wana download poe2 should do I it rn or will there be massive update download later on 29th?
probably odd 20 gig patch without knowing the real size
previous leagues have tend to been 10gigs give or take
there will be a big patch to download , but not that big, you can just prepare the main game now
@knotty lava good luck! Hope you get good rolls. I think i just got lucky with mine
A fellow in game spammed trade request, was completely confused as to why he gave me a rare lvl 33 crossbow with 20% quality. Thing is loaded and actually compliments the build i got going. All for free, even though I offer like 2 chaos orbs I had but nope just wanted to give me the crossbow
Cuttwater I think was the fellas name
Definitely a unique experience from the community
I play hc, not ssf but there didnt seem like much on the trade board.
I think ill do HC SSF on season start, foolish but im going for it lol 😆
I am working on tweaking my build for Sorcery Ward
Probably take the node at lvl 60 for safety
a lot of people would give away their stuff to random players on league end ,
as almost nobody plays Standard league
Oh gotcha.
I know new league is in a few days, at least ill have time to experiment on my witch hunter build for .5
Kinda wild, I bought poe2 like 2 days ago
League already ending
I been playing standard too, but only since its league end
There is one thing I miss
I want my thief class back
I miss dual wield dagger
Templar and Thief
guys, my stash customization does not show in my league char
and also if i have always attack without moving option checked on my left mouse click skill, it does not open the stash
what damage types does azmadi do? just phys? a lot of hes abilities are 1 swhotting me at 1300 hp
@maiden spire I like what you have more. I prefer resistance runes though personally.
If It was an armor/evade or armor/sheild or evade/shield then id use those runes you have on, maybe.
But im not a pro either, so could be wrong how i do that
probably phys. also some attacks do more than 1500 damage due to 100% more damage mod https://poe2db.tw/Azmadi%2C_the_Faridun_Prince
Thats what id like, damage resists for all bosses.
I think its all phys in act 1 except candlemass is fire and genaor is cold
thats the interlude guy right? quite fun fight
Not hard to believe he does 1500+ when Viper does 1500 in act 3.
I didn't mind faradin after a few tries. As ranger it found it easier to stay close to him
is it right that get more damge then build defense later in campaign when planning a passive tree?
Yeah just make sure you're getting life and resistances on your gear.
what is this spinny monk skill that fires wind out in most trailers
whirling assault with staggering palm buff
Are those monk palms (staggering/killing) used in any build?
a lot
😮
any tips for viper napuatzi
just die a lot until you figure out how to dodge the wave mechanic
couldn't find any on a quick search, just hollow palm and flicker strike ones
hollow palm is a keystone mechanic that makes unarmed attacks able to use quarterstaff skills, including killing/staggering palms
as for two gems you mentioned above, they're oftenly used as supports for other skills (including flicker)
Yo, should I even concern myself with Vaal Temples if I'm not at endgame?
I know it's only a few seconds but what matters more for something like an immunity to freeze charm, the duration or total charges?
they're gonna change a lot anyway this friday
Agreed. Im tempted to make a new league character right now, but kinda pointless with wipe soon
Just wanna play 😅
this is how i feel
want to get back into the game bc of the boss taming ascendancy
but im just lurking
and waiting xd
ik it was to build hype but it was lowkey evil of them to release that trailer 2 weeks before i can get my hands on it
I actually havent played hcssf this one yet, so I wouldn't even have a stash for anythjng.
Would almost make more sense to play standard at this point
the league is over in less than 2 hours
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3931686
oh...
is better solo start of league or party group
bosses scale up a lot in groups , specially in campaign, but it may be more fun with friends
I hate playing in groups in this for that reason, think ill just stick ssf
Like in diablo 2, monsters scale slightly when you add more players, 8 player groups and great to play in
In poe2, 2 man group bosses get 5000% more hp which is ridiculous
I mean that's not the actual number obviously but its almost pointless to play teams
3 players Geonor fight is scary
Been doing some 3 and 4 person HC act 1 runs leading up to 0.5, lotta fun even tho I plan on starting sc anyway
Ensuring you have certain things covered such as cursing/exposing/shock/freeze or stun or electrocute is v important, and sharing shop items is what allows you to edge out over a fast solo player
Might be slower off the bat but imagine having to sell a +1 minion helmet for 69 gold instead of shirking it off to your friend and letting them 1v3 geonor with a few sniper commands 😅
Likewise if you pick up a +2 melee mace with a good prefix, someone with earthquake/rolling slam can just obliterate beira/bramble/rust king and get everyone to lvl 6
yeah, sharing the loot across the team is great
But TWO people going after power charges for their boss combo? Fuck that lmao
Same for damage types, mixing chaos with elemental is of course going to lead to despair vs ele weakness contesting eachother
Id love to do that honestly. Play hc with a big group
Drop rate must be higher in group then? Or exp?
Everything feels pretty well tuned drop wise. If you use short allocation some items might go to one player a few times in a row, but otherwise it's as simple as one player saying they need gold and the other saying they need skill/support gems. Funnel eachother in ways that you couldn't alone
Playing on vc would be best i think
I met them in a hc private league ran by Timmy, he streams most days and is very friendly. Small time but his league picked up traction each league to the point of finally hitting 1000+ players in 0.4
Yeah you have to call out when you trip LOL, or spam flasks/log out like usual
Oh wow
Ive never logged. Even in D2 all these years, I accept my death as I recieve it 😋
Eh, in Poe it's well established and officially put in as a tool to use, straight from Chris Wilson himself
It makes up for the bugs and things that don't work in early access, kinda evens the odds so to speak
Can only speak for myself, but ive never gotten a death yet that wasnt my fault. And yet I still run, trip, and die lol
I mean Jesus they couldve added run without tripping/bumping
Play pathfinder
Trying the group to do a 6 man run this week but one of the main roster is already saving himself for Friday so I think the dream is dead
If you feel like a HC duo/group beach run, lmk one of these nights or toss a message in the LFG chat. I play on Washington DC but could try anywhere in NA as a test. Usually pretty late, like 10pm est for a couple hours
I could try sure. Ive always liked melee until poe2, now I play ranger 🤷
Im nova scotia, canada so we are close I think
Im off until friday, then working 12hour backshifts all weekend. So ill miss league start anyways
should we expect an influx of items on the standard market when all these characters migrate
I would think that the whole market will move to Standard, not sure
i guess i mean, are people invested in their standard ecomony to where they would be purging a bunch of stuff soon
no idea, I dont play Standard at all
Wait, what's being patched in in a few mintues?
the league is being moved to Standard
oh, in preparation for Druids...
the next expansion is 'return of the ancients'. and the league is 'runes of aldur'
this friday
😅
Makes sense. I did just get back into all things POE2 yesterday.
Ok. Can I get a summary of what's happening, just so Im clear?
Forgotten evils awaken in Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients! With six new Endgame storylines, a new Challenge League, new Pinnacle Bosses, new crafting systems, new Ascendancy Classes, and a ton of new Unique Items, this is our biggest update ever!
Return of the Ancients releases on May 29 PDT
yo servers are offline?
yep, maintenance
a ok thought my isp was funky
I was about to post why the game not working after I finished my stuff and was ready to game 🤭
I'm watching GuyThatDies doing poe2 compaign speedruns and I noticed he keeps opening inventory while running with WASD, what keybind does he use for inventory ?
No clue but I use my extra mouse buttons
Hi, since its gonna be free weekend my friends want to try out the game, i was wondering if its wise or recommended to play the campaign as 4?
that's fine
Any noob friendly 0.5 builds?
imo lightning spear fun and easy
Plants prob easiest. Starts from level 1
ye from rax
Got link?
Plants build
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yEVXk4xWII4
ED/C seems to be most noob friendly, im also poe2 noob
EDC and Crossbow grenade are probably the 2 most used noob friendly builds
sadly nah i just kinda went and followed what some ppl did for like the first couple of hrs of a league launch on poe ninja
the plant build from rax is 1 button
Can anyone else not access their stash after this update?
All my tabs say remove only?? I thought the new league didn't start until Friday
cuz the league is over and the only thing that is here is standard
Ohh that sucks so I'm just floating in between until then
u can take stuff out of them just not put them back in the same tab
as the remove only tabs are generated from the current leagues (aka temporary tabs until u sort them out)
Okay that makes sense I just had a mini heart attack but now I'm in between wanted to start a new character or "finishing this one" I just got to the abandoned prison
Speaking of tabs I guess just because I've been playing this game I get ads for it and there's websites you can buy currency like divine orbs and stuff 💀💀 like why bother buying it instead of just playing the game That's so scummy
elon musk
NO WAY
Not only that, it's against ToS and can get you canned and then your money's just wasted
I don't know if there was evidence Elon Musk RMTed, it was that he paid someone else to play the game for him in his account
That is insane
Tbh that's worse
Yep
But same reason people cheat in competitive games, I guess. Some people care more about supposedly "winning" than actually playing the game
ppl that play games generally dont care if they have to farm it out or grind a lil
but people that have money and no time dont care and thus there are also people in need of money and rmt can get them food on the table not all but some
no but it was funny considering that it the second time it happend with d4
Oh it was definitely funny
What is that even do for someone why bother What are you getting out of that
Was he a new player at the time?
ah yes i have this level 64 ring very good XD
Please tell me there is a vod of him playing or something I need to see that
he barely played he tried to do so on his plane while streaming on twitter (x)

He was trying to claim to be one of the best players at the game. But then when he briefly streamed it was really obvious he had no clue what he was doing despite having a high level character with good gear
he picked up items and manualy placed them in his inv
Attack speed staff 😭
What does this mean? I went to my passive skill tree and next to weapon set one and two there's the number 12 but I can't do anything with it?
Atlas passive points
0.4 league just ended so all of your characters were ported to standard
man rewatching the elon stuff is hilarious
Maybe a dumb question, but all the "increased Attack damage while moving" passives nodes - are they essentially wasd only?
oh i see. is there a list of skills that count or do they have certain keywords? anything better than guessing?
There might be a Movement tag, I'm not sure
ty for pointing me in the right direction
no worries mate
when do i start finding vaal beacons? im level 16 in vastiri outskirts and see no beacons
If everyone just moved from Fate of the Vaal into Standard, and they don't normally make league mechanics go core immediately, it sounds like there are simply no more temples?
Fate of the Vaal league ended earlier today. 0.5 new league launches on Friday.
In the meantime, we only have the Standard realm available, and the Vaal temple does not exist in Standard currently.
You'll want to start fresh with the rest of us on Friday in the new league, so don't worry too much about what you find during the next few days.
the temple is going core with new patch
ul be able to see them starting act 3 if i am not wrong
I believe so
yes, 6 in act 3 and 6 more in ludes
i plan on leaning into it early and seeing how the reward rooms are. temple is something i avoided early in 0.4 and had a blast with later on
hi new player to poe, was wondering whats a good nuke class i can start to easily help me progress through the campaign acts?
What's a nuke?
All classes have good builds. There's a new league starting on Friday.
Tactician as u get clear screen on ur first ascendancy
what is considered a "good" clear time for act 1?
36min17sec is very impressive for a fresh playthrough imo
not sure about "good", also not sure if you mean on a fresh playthrough which excludes any type of muling but here is what a speedrunner does and his full campaign run there might be World Record for a Fresh playthrough and with proof
Runner introduction starts at 0:00
Run starts at 1:32
Commentary is provided by CrimsonCasts
blast0rama is host
This speedrun was recorded during Awesome Games Done Quick 2026, a week long charity speedrun marathon raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Awesome Games Done Quick 2026 is just one of the many charity marathons organized ...
ik what speedrunners looks like but im saying for normal person, also yeah in league start senario
around 50min-1h i would say imo
ok
50-1hr seems a bit crazy still for a new player imo. Like if you blitz past everything, know where all the tells for where things generate and want to completely ignore the story and know what your each decision is gonna be sure
But like i as a newish player (i played launch up to the 2nd run of act 2 and .4 up to maps) did a run test today of a build. Mind you i was tabbing and checking notes and such and had a bad issue with dying 5 times in a row next to a checkpoint but act 1 took me 2:30
for a first playthough i agree but @crimson dust didn't specify "first" playthrough so i assumed like a league starter time but for Standard for someone who has done it before kind of
im new aswell, First league, but trying to do the acts fast is fun, the learning is also fun, times will vary a bit with luck and build but so far im averaging 1-1:10 for act 1.
- i think it's definitly good.
- take my answer with a big grain of salt because my knowledge is mainly based on my own time and i muled every character i lvled through campaign
also depends on rng (vendors), class, build, etc a lot so would almost have to say like "this is good for this class but not impressive if you played this class" etc
@crimson dust an example of how i mule it for my Standard SSF characters
if u find a unqiue say at lvl 10 can u find the same unique at lvl 100? or no
do you mean the item level or at your character level ?
uniques have a set level that doesnt change
I have never play minion berfore. Thinking about going minion DoV build. Need some minion build leveling guide.
why does my stash have remove only sections in it now after the update? and its full of random items i never had before
i emptied a disenchanted all the items in the sanctum tab, but the tab is still there
you're in standard now and that's all your old stuff
the tab wont go away until you reload your character
its funny how they still call it Sanctum , but its not called Sanctum anywhere else in POE2 , lol
how do you get the extra wide inventory?
its a Titan ascendancy skill
damn, id pay for that lol
you can play Titan and get it for free , lol
I start in as New Player in 29.05. is there any good Guide ?
Thx
So if you unlock it on Titan all your characters get it too?
no, its only on Titan
the only part of the video the other guy posted I would not follow is the advice to not follow a buildguide, if you care even the slightest bit about endgame a build guide would make your experience alot more streamlined. The rest of the video is good though.
I only want to start because endgame 🤣 but i am Not informed what build is the best for new Players
for that you could just go on youtube and look up "poe 2 0.5 league starter"
Ok
pick whichever you like or feel like you will enjoy
the campaign is there to teach you stuff
did the leauge ended?
Careful with youtube. Not all creators are trustworthy and some like poe builds are outright scam channels.
my character got transfered to standard leauge
Yep, new league starts on Friday
As Tote said it’s a bit hit or miss on Youtube but Maxroll and Mobalytics are both solid sources for PoE2 builds
is this skill tree the 0.5 skill tree or still the old one: https://pathofexile2.com/game/passive-skill-tree/AAAABwgCAAA=
Must be 0.5, Spirit Walker wasn’t an available ascendancy in 0.4
Also the official site would be updated first
what is this icon? im on controller so i cant hover or dont know how to navigate to it
For real wtf but why
Unspent passives I believe
They give you a bad build and sell you the “answer” through RMT which is against the terms of service
Usually it’s a build that doesn’t or barely functions before you invest a certain amount of currency to buy specific uniques or reach certain breakpoints with stats on rares
hmm my character is still lvl8 and ive already used all my passive skills available
Might be atlas passives
Yeah it’s atlas passives sorry, regular passives are just a + sign
huh, dont think i can access atlas this early right
u can only get the atlas point by finishing maps tho
yeah just wondering what these are then
might be from previous characters that are in Standard , since Atlas points are shared
that is true
could be the reason
ah i have finished a couple previous leagues yeah
Yep sorry should’ve clarified that’s why you have those
ok so noob question, i was looking at the passive tree on poe website and these 2 nodes are different than what they are ingame, but i did not read anything about this in patch nodes, this is on the witch start. so what is going on?
Depends what character youre playing
Early passive nodes change based on character
ah i was thinking asmuch thx for clarifying
yeah, thats a Sorc start, for Witch its different
Does the game explain this anywhere?
I dont think so, the tree just shows the nodes available for the selected class,
it wouldnt show for other class unless you either start that class or check ouside of the game
stupid question i dont remember if i changed something in the setting but after i hover my mouse over items on the ground the box with the item name becomes invisible and i can only se the item if i directly hover over the item from the floor instead is there something i can do to make it normal again?
so ive rolled back about 5 times now in mawdun quarry. 19->17 18->17 18->17 17->17 19->17. playing with no lag 23ms nothing abnormal and poof -> abnormal disconnect -> rollback
Had that issue yesterday doing test runs. Server was wonky yesterday. Haven't played much today, but no issues so far
so it's not the fiber i just swapped to. good.
With WASD movement, is it possible to bind things to, for example Shift+W and have it not input the W to move my character?
I dont think so, if you need more skill buttons I believe the default is Ctrl+(one of the existing) ,
excluding WASD
Not sure where to ask that but that's going to be my first league of PoE2.
I played a bit of calamity bear previously but that's it.
Is there creators of builds you would recommend? I know fubgun for example make some really good ones but things get expensive quickly.. I usually use mobalytics but there's so much variety that I'm a bit lost rn
If you have any "safe" names to follow
@soft cobalt here is a few
Ty, what about Ronarray?
ive been following his edc build and its solid, i dont think his build are the most minmaxed/optimized but it seems to be good for casual/newbies
Filter blade is just never sink but you can edit it right?
Problem is (I feel like) that most minmax build from really good creators usually will cost a LOT
Neversink is the dev, filter blade is the lootfilter
Can someone tell me where and how I can gather more spirit for heralds and cast on crit
filterblade is neversink's website
100 during the campaign and more from gear/ascendancies and passives that reduce reservation costs.
How do I log in on a ps5 for downloading lootfilters cuz I need em bad
Oof idk if you can get it on a ps5
this is true, and unless you consider yourself to be ahead of the curve, its bettter to stick to not so popular builds
Good to know, only know in act 2 Finns quest gives 30 spirit but I dont wanna accidentally overlook other opportunities
Browser pops up but im used to my stuff automatically remembering log ins
First 30 is act 1.
Gemblood skull correct?
Yea. Just wanted to make sure you hadn't missed it. Next one is act 3 I believe.
has ggg released a list of all the campaign visual guides?
Ok cool, I will have to note where and what acts gives spirit, hopefully find a nice amulet with spirit
Or reductions to reservation
I just cannot decide if I wanna go chronomancer or stormweaver
Rn my sorcereress is running 3 elements
if you go POE website, login, go to your profile (just click your username) and on the right side there is "Item filters" , then subscribe to a filter there and it should show up for you ingame and be selactable from the dropdown
Yeah I remember that happening in poe1. Just dont remember it being difficult
its not really difficult , its like 5 clicks , lol
So if I log in from my phone on my ps5 account I can then go to the console and add the filter?
Cuz I have 2 accounts lol one pc and one ps5
you login to the one where you want to setup filters
Hi I need names of these 3 rings please
I doubt they will. They probably want some of them to be discovered by players
Hey ya'll, long time experienced poe1 player, dabbling in poe2 for the first time on ps5. Anyone name me a couple of comfortable first time builds? Going ssf or couch-coop ssf with wifey.
Check the wiki
Anything on Maxroll or Mobalytics under the “league starter” section should do fine, but if you’re co-op then try to pick something that uses the same damage type (i.e. if one of you is going lightning, both go lightning if you can)
The reason for that is because there’s a curse limit so if you’re both using different curses you’ll be stepping on each other’s toes
But if one of you isn’t then it’s fine to mix it up
Thank you kindly
grip of kulemak and the other two are 2 versions of sekhemas resolve
cold and fire version iirc
What is the best guide to watch so when i buy the game in few days, i can understand what to do and where to go so i dont get lost and rage quit?
depends what kind of gamers you are i guess
What you mean?
if you rage quit you lost
there's content creators for casual gaming, there's creators who make content for minmax enjoyers who like to play optimally, there's those who make content for people who don't want to try too hard
and then there are just clickbaiters that make horrible builds 😅
i imagine someone like zizaran should have an onboarding video or even a series for poe2
I’m casual i need to have fun thats it
Not going so deep because my English not good so it will be too much reading which i hate and hard to understand
oh boy, I don't know a single good guide, but you can search for a beginner/campaign guide. you need to learn how supports, passives, flasks work, what mods are good, and what permanent act rewards there are, where to get items
just open poe wiki and google translate it to your language
Reading is basically you're strongest skill in POE. Knowing the difference between things like attacks and spells are pretty important.
I am warning you, you have to learn a lot even to get through campaign
I said i hate reading thats why i was asking if there is a perfect youtube guide someone knows because there are a lot but idk which one to watch
are you trying to stop them from buying the game so we get one less player lagging up the servers
noble cause
There's a lot to know and there isn't one video that could possibly cover it all.
You are the first one who tells me this
i mean its not THAT bad, if you've played isometric rpgs, its not that different
yeah, there isn't one build guide that is enough, its eternal learning with POE
Have you played an ARPG before?
I used to play diablo immortal for maybe 3 months and warframe 800 hours and destiny 2 for 1600 hours
Other arpg i dont think so
Diablo immortal is probably closest and it’s still pretty far off tbh
Warframe and D2 are too different for any skills to really translate
I have a 3-5 hours a day after my work to play
Do you think it’s worth to play a game and enjoy or it will take ages till i start to have fun?
3-5 hours a day is plenty
Most newer players probably take around 20 or so to get through the acts, less if you’re following a build guide
Sometimes more if you’re taking your time but it’s not terribly long
Depends what you find to be fun. Some people enjoy learning a new game and trying builds.
And the league lasts for 3-4 months so you have a lot of time
And a build usually comes online around act 2-3 ish so you’ll start feeling powerful and having fun long before you finish the acts
Sometimes earlier than that
I enjoy mid game when i have power but not OP yet
The start is meh to me
3-5 hours per day is plenty of time for most people.
Idk what is the league so yeah i need to watch a guide
If you follow a build guide you can probably get to act 2 within your first play session
A league is like a season
It starts on Friday and will go for 3-4 months
I will ofc follow a guide on a build i think it fits my play style
Leagues have a fresh economy, a new league mechanic, all the base game additions/changes, and challenges for free cosmetics.
The ancient something right?
From that trailer i want to play the game
It’s a good game, still missing some features but it’s in early access, been pretty good so far though imo (obviously very subjective)
Thanks for the information
So i will need to watch a general guide about the game then a build
But if you do buy early access it also gives you an equal amount of points to spend in the ingame cosmetics/stash tab shop
I will buy it in the sale
And there are some useful stash tabs to get like currency, fragment and map tabs
Save your points from buying the game for a stash tab sale. They go on sale every three weeks and once you have a few specific ones you basically have all you need for hundreds or thousands of hours.
Main one is currency, cant live without that one anymore lol
Yep, currency is a priority for sure, and then if you want to trade at all a merchant tab
And then fragment/map for endgame are both really nice
I don’t think the game itself goes on sale yet though
Like it won’t be discounted
Even through Steam
Isn't one of the packs going on sale but you only get 150 points?
Maybe, idk
I haven’t paid attention
But it’s not worth it even if it is imo, it’s worth it to have the points if you can afford it full price
Sorry i did not understand
You mean when i buy the game i dont spend the points on stash until there is a sale?
See i dont know anything thing yet
Yes correct
So if you buy the game full price you get 300 points to spend in the shop
Correct. Stash tabs have guaranteed sales every couple weeks.
Every weekend a sale happens, but what is on sale rotates
Stash tabs are every 3 weeks starting 1 week after league start
So this weekend no, next weekend yes
you can can also just play the free weekend and then buy it if you like it over the weekend
How much the stash cost?
you can check here, 10 points is $1
https://pathofexile2.com/shop/stash-tabs
I will buy the sale and play and if i like the game so much and needed more points then i will buy another supporter pack right?
You can do that or just buy points as you need them
sounds like a plan
If you buy a pack you get extra cosmetics but you can also just buy points if you want a smaller amount
Thanks
You get 150pts with the key during the sale, is enough for Currency+merchant tab for example. But you'll be wiser once you are playing on what you think is best tabs for you
You also don’t really need the map & fragment tabs during the acts
So you can decide if you even like the game first
ever since the universal map keys, map tab has reduced in priority, at least for me
That’s true but they take up a lot of space still and it’s easier to just toss em in and forget about em if you get a lot
You guys saying stuff idk what it means
Map keys? Fragments? Merchant ?
No idea at all
you will learn over time , lol , there is too much stuff
Yeah
Just to confirm this is the best thing to do right? Or there is optimal way because i dont like to spend to much money on games. I rarely spend money
yes
Thanks
speaking of all the stash tabs , I finally had some time to organize them
also, new players dont need most of those , I've just been playing for a long time 😅
They're just tabs that store different types of items. Currency lets you store the various currency items. Merchant lets you sell items to other players. Fragment is for items that you use for interacting with all the side content.
The big benefit to stash tabs is their size and their ability to organize everything
Currency tabs have spaces for each basic currency with the ability to stack up to 5000 of each
what is this sanctum (remove-only) stash tab that appeared?
Vs a regular stash tab where you can stack up 20 of some currencies and 10 of others
You played in the league, it ended on Monday, now you’re in Standard
its the Sekhemas relics
They don’t delete your stuff it just gets transferred
what should i do with it?
But they don’t do a one to one transfer of stash tabs in case you have stuff in those tabs already
Remove it from the tab and place it in one of the non-remove only, sell it, drop it, delete it, or ignore it completely
Up to you
Most people don’t touch standard so just ignore any remove only standard tabs
Does someone have any info on the inventory getting all meshed up with standard and not in your fate of vaal ? I know seasons about to wrap up but Still odd that my inventory is all messed up. Thanks for any info
they are in your other weapon slot, you can press X to swap weapons.
Maul is a talisman basic skill, so unless you are in bear form it will be like that.
your stash tabs?
fate of the vaal ended already and your stash from it got moved to standard as remove only tabs
But I thought the new season was Friday? So current stash is already out if I'm understand you correctly
i know it's early game but let it be a teaching moment, is the extra phys dmg and attack speed enough to drop the +2 to melee skills?
the new league starts this Friday. the previous league always ends the Monday before
everyone is in Standard until Friday
Gotcha didn't realize this , I just hoped on and see standard. Thank ya, I was a little confused
this decision is so inconsequential, just put both on, look at tool tip dps, and have at it
i can have two on?!
technically in second weapon yes, but not what i meant...i just mean take whatever tooltip number is higher and use that one
Is there anyway i can remove the 50% reduced projectile damage.. item already twice corrupted
I could use some help. I'm in act 1 and I'm making a guide for Finn. I couldn't buy any more b/c I'm locked out of gambling any futher.
1: Cuirass
2: Vest
3: Robe
4: Greathelm
5: Rogue Armour
6: Vestmants
7: Jacket
8: Felt Cap
9: Circlet
Can someone help me complete this guide?
This isn't really the channel for that
Check the wiki, it should have them listed
I'll browser thorugh it again. Thank you.
if its twice corrupted then you cant change anything
I'm having a diffiulct time finding what I'm looking for on the wiki. Can you help?
if it wasnt then how?
I think there was an omen for changing implicits , not sure if it works for the bow ones
try asking in #2┃crafting-advice
https://www.poe2wiki.net/wiki/Body_armour check whatever slot you're looking at, and you'll be able to find all the bases for that armor slot
Body Armour is an item class of armour (equipment) items. They provide base defences based on their attribute alignment. Body armours also come with a hidden movement speed penalty depending on the type.
Thanks this does help. I can compare it to the shop and build the guide for a quick reference. Thank you.
so implicts are the stats on the top..what are the stats called for the bottom?
explicits
It's like a combination of all of the lines of stats that contribute towards that stat
pseudo in the market filter just means "anything with this text"
Like strength can give life, for example
that's just a term for searching for items. it's not an actual thing on items
So an item that has say, +50 life, and +10 strength, would have a pseudo value of +70 life (2 life per 1 str)
So searching for a pseudo +70 life would return that item, but searching for explicit +70 life would not
oh ok so to me more precise i should search for explicts and implicts
i just started a new huntress. anyone can help me with some sockets and gems?
i have a question spirit walker like lich ?
what ??
i mean gameplay they are the same right ?
no they are completely different ,
Spirit Walker is an ascendancy for the Huntress
Lich is an ascendancy for the Witch
ye but they are both a summoners right ?
they can be, but the builds are usually very different
oh alr then thx !!
If I play ssf and drop an expensive item that I do not intend to use, can I convert that character to regular and sell on trade?
you can move the character from SSF to trade, but not back to SSF.
if you plan to sell items then its easier to just play trade
anyone know why the implicit is 1% when its normally 50%?
no idea, but thats actually so funny ... 1%
Thanks for you help. Let me know if I made any mistakes on the gambling guide. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3733476831
No, chaos only rerolls explicits
Can you hold alt over it and take another screenshot?
Very strange
that looks bugged , because the only roll in brackets is 50
so it should always be 50
its normally 50 but i seen ones different numbers too and yours is the lowest of the low
at least you dont have reduced projectile range
You do understand you can get different base types from gambling right? It's not just always the same base type. If you know that, ignore this....but seemed like you might be thinking that
I know the reason. You had this bow before they changed how additional arrows work
Before they added surpassing chance
I know cuz I had this exact same issue with my bow lul
So is currency still scarce in campaing
Spirit walker has tools for builds that have zero summons. So does lich.
each ascendancy can be used for a lot of different builds

From what I understood and tested. You can get higher tier of item, but they are all going to be from the same effect tree.
For example if you pick Tattered Robe # 3 in the guide I made you will always get Energy Shield effect, but you have the chance of getting a higher tier of Tattered Robe such as Hexer's Robe, but it will still maintain the energy shield effect.
you're overthinking this
it tells you what the base type is. It can be armor, evasion, energy shield, armor/evasion, armor/energy shield, evasion/energy shield
then you are gambling, and the base types will be limited by the highest level you can obtain, and will go up with you as you level
theres no research or testing needed here, we know how it works
A vendor or merchant is an NPC in any of the main towns across Path of Exile 2's Acts. They offer various items for sale with item levels comparable to the player's level, up to a cap. The player may also sell items to a vendor for Gold or disenchant items for currency shards.
Sorry if this was answered anywhere but does the new vaal pact allow you to recover life from flasks?
I added a very important detail to the gambling guide I had made which should steer users to simply use the game.
for those who've done both, grenades vs permafrost which is better for campaign
Hey, is there any way to farm uniques specifically early on? I want to try and get the new companion Sceptre that's lv6
Looking for class/skill recommendations that feel completely different from Diablo 4's standard lineup (ice/lightning mages, whirlwind barb, minion necro, shapeshifter, paladin, or standard bow rogue). I don't need a full newbie guide, just some fun, unique playstyles or concepts to check out that still feel fresh while leaving me space to grow with the game.
To give context, I finished D4 after killing all bosses at Torment 12 and have nothing left to chase, so I'm looking for something harder and more complex.
Basically any build marked "league starter" on Maxroll or Mobalytics will work just fine as a new player, and there are a ton of different archetypes to choose from even within the same class
So finding a unique strongbox, fighting the mob who gets resurrected 6 times - is the strongbox not meant to drop something? I got actually zero from it.
the drops are whatever falls out of the monster
That's lame lol
hi i'm in the trial of the ancestors and im doing the "Kaom's test of mettle" and I can't kill the rare enemy because it keeps regenerating life. How do I kill it?
What skills are you actually using?
lightning arrow and lightning rod
