Really do not get their popularity. They sound like old non lubed ttc and are soft press to the point of being too soft

They’re basically as expected - old ttc switches with magnets to make them 35gf the whole way, but that doesn’t solve their sound and feel issue

Can be for a number of reasons: messed up calibration, power related, external interference

if it's calibration, unplug and replug

if it's power related, try different port on the back of the pc

we tried replugging it, reflashing the firmware, using a different port, re-seating the switch, using it via my usb-c cable that works fine on the 60HEv2 on my pc and lowering the brightness

if it still does it, open analog monitor https://analog-monitor.wootility.io/, unplug the keyboard, lift the keyboard off the desk (hold it in the air), plug the cable back in and connect it to analog monitor, wait couple of seconds for initial calibration, and check the analog monitor if there are spikes. If there are no spikes then something on the desk or near the desk is interfering with the sensors

There isn't a case that makes your keyboard "thock"

Choose the one you can afford or like the look of

First off — making a Hall effect keyboard thock is really hard. If not impossible depending on your definition of thock. Now as for the cases that will give you the deepest sound, if you are talking for a 60he or 80he then as @regal patio said just pick whatever looks good to you. Then stuff it with as much foam as you can get your hands on and you should be good. If you are building a custom keyboard though, for maximum thock the recipe is basically just a case which doesn’t have a really bright sound signature (e.g. like neo boards do), so done thing like a lucky65 or something, then stuff it with foam (or in the lucky 65 just put in a thicker case foam, everything else is fine), put in some keygeek y2/y3 switches, slap on some ceramic keycaps for maximum thock (cerakey or tactype) or if you don’t like ceramic keycaps just use thick non-shine-through double-shot PBT keycaps. Then experience thock.
