There's a plate screw that I removed on the 60HEv2 near the space and I found that it positively impacted the sound in that it removed some rebound resonance.

Would this affect the hall effect performance a lot? The friction fit is holding the board in place and not really bouncing during gameplay/typing

generally no but depends how tight everything else is. Any movement is bad, it just depends on if the other screws/switches etc keep the sandwich together enough to makeup for the missing screw

This is a modding community. The whole point is that people here care about chasing the best possible endgame for their boards, trying new things, and pushing for options they want to see exist. There is nothing wrong with giving people a productive path to try.

Wooting is a great company with a lot of great employees and a lot of good energy behind it. The problem is that the way you handled this does not reflect that well at all. You come across as pessimistic, dismissive, and overly eager to shut things down before they even have a chance to breathe. It is not helpful, and it does not make the community better.

Having information is one thing. Using it to immediately smother ideas and make people feel dumb for trying is another. That is the part you keep missing.

If you're looking at the TX AP Clip in stabs with the options of long pole vs normal, images wont show cus the difference of a longpole stab and a normal stab is the length of the stabilizer stem. So you're just going based on the listing, not by image.

And for the Screw ins, there should only be the normal which is 4mm

and for pcb thickness you need 1.6mm

if you're new with stabs, i would try using knights instead. YIKB is good and all but the assembly is a bit finicky cus the molds are different than your typical cherry type stabs

why don't you take this one, make a slot on the top of your desk where this case fits in and you can secure it - and then just let the bulb hang there in stasis because it most likely doesn't care about orientation

so the base is upside down and you'd just see the magnetic bulb by itself

if you don't block the path of the wireless charger and magnets too much, it'll probably work fine and you may not even see the base unless you look really hard for it
