You shouldn't use friction mount in that case, because you won't be able to use their knob, and it ends up being a bit scuffed that way. Use their plate and gasket instead.

If you use friction mount in that case, the module sits lower compared to their gasket mount, which can put pressure on the USB port, probably not ideal long term

aside from (e-sports) gaming, these switches are really great and the bottom out feel isn't harsh at all. if the lekker tikken bottom out is 100 % harsh, then xvx is only 25-33 % as harsh by comparison, , so it actually feels soft.
