It's not a DAC. It's my XLR interface. But it's a Scarlett Solo Gen 3. My DAC is a FiiO K11.

I have the Scarlett on top of my desk as I adjust the gain depending on the situation I'm using it for. Putting it out of the way isn't ideal.

Also my XLR cable isn't long enough to really move it. It's 10' long. But that's not really that much when half of it is fed through the boom arm.

You can use a Scarlett as an output device, but it can't output high resolution audio. You're better going with an actual DAC that supports high resolution than using the output channel on the Scarlett. Maybe Focusrite makes a device that will output high resolution, but the one I have will not.

Hi! I'm building a second keyboard with a Wooting 60HE v2 module in a Tofu60 Redux case. My other build is the Wooting Platinum edition, which uses the friction fit (screwless) system. Since the Tofu Redux is a tray mount with standoffs, do I definitely need to use screws for this one? Are there any specific mounting tips for the v2 module in this case compared to the Platinum setup?

I've run into an issue: the USB-C port is shifted to the right and doesn't align with the case hole, so I can't plug it in. I only removed the silicone feet before sliding it in

Hi! I am searching for a switch that has the least amount of "scratchyness" (feeling wise, not sound) with a similar initial/bottom-out force than the Lekker L45 V2 swtiches. I tried the L45s, GEON RAW, Tikken and Gateron Jade. All of them feel scratchy too me when pressing the keys down repeatedly.

(I hand lubed the L45s but still no improvements)

If you hand lubed and still have scratch as well as trying all of those options then I think you might be feeling wobble or something else

There’s very low chance every single one of those switches is scratching, especially after trying hand lube

Yeah that is a good question. When i keep the key stable and slowly press up and down without "bottoming out" i can mostly "reproduce" it. In that case there is no wobble involved. It gets worse when slightly applying more force to f.ex. the left side of the key i.e. tilting it a bit. I can feel "something" touching although by tilting it it might be expected. I might be oversensitive to this though tbh, but gaming a lot i can feel it quite often.

Maybe try deep clacky flux if you can order from aliexpress, they're cheap there. They don't have that scratchy feel if you press them offcenter from my experience

honestly best might be to try small sample pack of something a tad more stable like say try just a few of the deep clack and see if it's stability related from the tilt rubbing on the sides

because if it's not then there's no fix for what you're describing as that friction feel is already as low as you can get it with say tikkens that was lubed

Considering what pro gamers use, a lot of youtube reviews and comments on here, the tikkens are one of the absolute best you can get. No need imo to try and get something else right now except once you have them and you have a specific problem with them (too light / hard to click or something like that).
