Just got my new switches and springs. Back when I bought my wooting keyboard I also bought the switch tool set (and lube set) but after arrival I decided lubing isn't necessary/ worth the effort.
Anyway I have this switch opening tool. This boxy thingy held together with magnets, and dunno how to use it correctly. The half without the hole has prongs to open the switches (when you press one into it). But how is it used with the other half? And that also has two prongs on the inside. How is that used?

i'd choose any low density plate for top mount cus usually dense plates like alu and cf tend to produce a lot of reverb with how they treat vibrations and frequency, and since top mount is directly making contact with the top case, it does produce more of the hollow end of your spacebar

I really like the Tikken. Like so much that I bought 2 sets of them aside from the set that came in my TenZ. Even modded a set to have the same force as the the ones that came in the TenZ. I prefer the shorter travel of the other ones though for gaming. For typing, they're all about the same.

I was fat fingering keys a lot when I first got the TenZ though. It didn't last super long however.
