for better sound recordings

1. you can get a keyboard mat or really anything soft under the keyboard to reduce vibration transfer from the keyboard to the table
2. get a shock mount or at least a microphone arm to reduce the microphone from picking up vibrations through the desk

my setup isnt perfect either

I don't run RGB and I've found that the keyboard sounds better with the switches placed so the diffusers are on the south side, again not a problem if theres no other side effect I don't know about?

There isn't a difference in sound when facing your switches either north or south facing. It's pretty much a placebo affect or how your mind think of it when swapping. Anyways it really doesn't matter how you face your switches if you don't use rgb so i wouldn't worry much.

I may have to post a video of it but on the keycaps I have KAP Midas (I've also done this with GMK) and the middle row is always muted but when the switches are the other way, it makes more noise or at least more of what I want

I fixed the shift escape thing by making it so the escape key has 2 buttons on it (shift and escape, adjusted to the same actuation on the same key so they activate at the same time). this fixed it for now. basically it was making it so I had to click shift and escape at the same time for some reason instead of just being able to click escape in games. 60he v2 glitch
