Are the screws for the pcb to plate not supposed to be tight, i just recently purchased the wooting 60he v2 and transferred my plate for the 60he, the screws aren’t tight as they’re slightly longer than the 60he I’ve noticed, should I use the original screws from the 60he?

Interesting, wuque is lining up a case kit which is GH60 compatible ( Wooting included ), it even has a knob which connects to a hub ( connects the PCB ) and is controlled via VIA.

that is possible, everything will come down to the HUB's firmware. If it passes through the PCB module as is, it's fine. but I would hate it if it becomes a bottleneck for the performance.

Haven’t seen reports of it, but tricky thing with spring crunch stuff is it’s not very widespread outside of die hard enthusiast groups

So if a switch isn’t popular or used enough then you don’t get enough people using it to really see

A lot of the random small issues that pop up within the die hard he enthusiasts circle aren’t things regular folk run into, so it’s always a battle to know what is actually common vs not

pc plate is pretty muted and could potentially make your board sound dead especially when bottoming out the switch. A different plastic plate can do you better like POM or PP, same characteristics of PC but has a unique pop to it.

FR4 plate is like a neutral sounding plate

but i wouldnt go anywhere above it like CF or Alu for you

The main focus of the friction fit pad is to isolate sound and direct contact of the pcb and case unlike tray mount where it has its own hotspot problem with it's design.

Tape mod is a type of sound acoustic modifier, boosting the lows and mids of the board and potentially increase its volume over all.
