But if you do ever come across on wanting to bag lube your springs when lubing your switches, look for krytox gpl105

Venom’s plate isn’t really tight at all, that combined with the multi-layout plate holes it has, doesn’t make it a good combo with Raeds

Multi-layout plate holes are those combined holes of split backspace and backspace for example. They require switches with mounting pins.

There’s a lot more necessary for a good mcu than clock speed. There are reasons we pick the mcu we do and it’s not just due to clock speed

It’s kind of the flaw of a lot of testing is they’re only checking clock speed and not understanding what’s actually needed and used

The tldr being the v2 mcu is actually better for what we need in our keyboards, so it’s not worse but better instead

Clockspeed basically isn’t important once it meets a certain threshold for what you need it to do, then other factors become more important

hey all, i bought a 60he module on black friday and its shipping in mid january, but i notice that the 60he v2 module is in stock, i just got my switches today and i've been had my case and keycaps since late november lol, so i was thinking of cancelling my original order and getting the v2

the only reason why i didnt go with the v2 in the first place was because of the price but i notice it's only like 20-30 bucks more, so like i said previously, i might end up getting that, the only thing that would suck is not getting the free case and wrist rest that i got originally

i have a holy60 dupe from amazon, and there are reviews on amazon and all that, but there isn't really anything with the 60he v2, since obviously the modules didnt ship out nd etc, and i did see on the compatibility thing that the notion says the holy60 should work with the v2 pcb, but i wanted to hear from yall. the 60he v2 has the ability to tray mount, correct? and if yall think i should go with the 60he v2 as well 😭 jus want opinions

nah, just make sure the spring on the space bar is heavy (like 80g or so)

hey all! new here...about to order a 60HE v2. I have been messing with keyboards for years now, but I'm quite rusty and have been using the same Cannonkeys Bakeneko65 for 3 years and I want a change for gaming. This wouldn't be my first time modding a keyboard and I have plenty of caps so I was going to grab the module instead of the pre-built. I really like the optimum case over the stock...

Two questions though, does the optimum case give you any dampening like the stock aluminum case does? Does it need the dampening?

Second question is the switches; seems like the lekker tikkens are quite good, but should I look into any of the other switches they offer? TTC KOM POM and GEON Raw both seem interesting, but I'm unsure what the differences really are.

Optimum case comes with the foam.
