“Pre-travel” can refer to both the actuation point and the distance before the tactile bump. For linear switches, it always refers to the actuation point, and with magnetic switches in general, the actuation point is always adjustable. 🙂

Honestly annoys me to an insane degree that anything can be called thocky depending on who you ask

What we do want to add though is a basic “I don’t know what to select cause my switch isn’t listed” option, which will basically be just auto calibration with set distance value - this is more for beginners to avoid confusion than to do something new

By selecting an option we can use a custom magnetic curve combined with travel value and start at 10x the accuracy as the basic model

biggest diff i really noticed is the holee mod. but its not worth the effort unles you got time to burn and dont mind dissasembling the whole module, taking out all the stabs. cleaning them. putting a strip of precut foam into them and relubing them

Anyway Geon tested leggera with PC and Acrylic and said there were too many deformations with the PC so went acrylic and even with acrylic they couldn't do a tray mount because the screws would crack the case

The Akko case is more than likely a mixture or glued, probably the latter as it is gasket mounted (not screwed in).

But the case is pretty thick bezel-wise

Hey y'all I just pre-ordered the 60 he v2 and I also bought the optimum case. With the friction fit mounting and some gmk keycaps I'm trying to pick the best switches that have good performance but also have a deeper sound signature. From what I've read it seems like the DCFs are the best option for that but from what I can see rn on aliexpress is that they're considerably more expensive then my alternative option rn which is the tikkens. Was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions! Thanks
