The most your going to do to make your keyboard endgame would be certain mods and such, but with the v2 module it already includes all those mods on them haha, so honestly only thing is tuning the stabs. I ordered aftermarket stabs only because I like the look of them a tad more haha

There is a bit of a ping when you strike the top case with your nail or something due to the construction of the case but that can be mitigated a little with some dampening

Otherwise no such issues here, using poly fill

Location on the board makes a big difference in sound

Lube also settles over time/with lots of usage and that could cause some different sound but the main thing in your situation is the physical location of the keys

that is a big nono for HE switches

any soft material between the PCB and the switches will disrupt the zeroing algorithms that HE keyboards use

not because of that, but because every time you press the key you squish the foam which changes the distance between the switch and the PCB, every time you press and release a key.

So i finally have the wooting 80HE dialed in almost perfect. The only thing letting me down is my GMK spacebar believe it or not.

Stabilizers are all perfect now including spacebar stab but its the actual spacebar causing me issues.

Wooting stock spacebar - Perfect

2 x KBDiy Clone GMK spacebars - Perfect

Genuine GMK spacebar - strange ticking sound.

Might have to grab a PBTfans set and see how they are instead i suppose.

Im not sure tbh. i cant work it out for the life of me. ive placed the space bar on a flat surface to check if its warped at all. Doesnt seem too bad.

Pressing down on one side raises the other side slightly. but not by much.

Clones and wooting are straighter forsure but its not by much.

Theres obvious differences of clones and wooting being pbt and GMK being abs but still doesnt explain the ticking/rattle.
