Where should I begin with modding a wooting keyboard to look like a Model M, and if not an IBM, perhaps a beige 90's equivalent? For 2he I think you have to DIY the case yourself, for keycaps it should be easy to get. You can get the keyboard's dimension easily on wooting's design file though.

Biggest difference between alu and FR4 aside from metal sound is if you flexed the plate with your hands FR4 would have some more give to it, but once they’re in your board I’d say their stiffness typing on is pretty similar with some sound differences

first one, the second side you tap on is slightly fcked

but its fine, its just a tiny bit, can be just you not holding the middle part down.

you can flip it and see if the other side is nicer, typically one side works better than the other, which is why i mentioned that earlier.
