Space bars can generally sound hollow so you need foam sometimes to improve the sound, whereas your alpha keys (#s down to Z keys) don’t have that issue

I probably wouldn’t do it for other stab keys (think it’ll prob reduce your accuracy a bit), but cam should be able to help you further on it

You’ll need atleast a 60g space bar spring and others may need something heavier (but it’s something you’ll have to play around with if you wanna use ceras, you might like 60g over 50g on all your keys for instance, not as set and forget like other plastic key caps)

If you’re using shorter springs geon pingless 52.5g/62.5g should be a good starting spot

I’ve seen that, but I don’t have anything like that- at most, one keycap is just slightly wider on one side, but it’s barely noticeable. Also, don’t forget that you can contact support, and they’ll send replacements if it’s really as bad as in the photo. If you’re in Europe, you have 14 days to return them without giving a reason.

Alright, here we go, they’re not super slippery, more like the feeling of sliding your finger across glass or a smooth surface (wood, stone). As you can see, light-colored keycaps let through more RGB, which looks really cool. They don’t collect dirt on the outside, but it’s quite possible they will on the inside. There’s also a cooling effect, I’d compare it to magnesium-shell mice; they shimmer nicely under light. Even though they’re labeled as Cherry MX profile, they do sit a couple of millimeters lower than their plastic counterparts. Tapping them with your fingers doesn’t feel great, so I recommend adding O-rings (with regular typing this isn’t an issue, but if you’re spamming keys like in strafes, then yeah).
One more recommendation: use switches with low stem wobble, because if you have something like Lekkers, they’ll start rattling and ticking.

They’re something between cheap ABS keycaps and good, maybe even slightly textured PBT ones. For me, they actually feel grippier. Imagine you’ve just washed your hands, dried them, and then started swiping on your phone- that’s kind of the effect.

It’s about the springs and the point at which I need to press the key for it to activate. Even though I currently have the actuation set to 2.5mm, the ≈40g springs cancel out that long travel. On mechanical switches, the springs are heavier and I don’t remember the exact actuation point, but it’s definitely higher.

It’s technical. It’s 40 steps over 4mm for switches with a total travel of 4mm. For switches with a total travel of 3.5mm, it’s also 40 steps.
