You have it on the wrong side of the PCB. it goes in from the top and not the bottom

Remove that stabilizer, flip your board over so the switches are facing up, then reinstall the stabilizer with the bar going under the plate

Since its just one switch and the board came with extras in case you damage the switch, you can get it out using that method.

I believe the V3s don’t support long pole, but if you have issues you can get geon stem spacers if you have any issues with your space bar (if you like the V3s and get them)

V2s should still have that option

You can also get them prelubed/wire balanced from Zkeebs which is where I got mine from (will be more expensive)

My recommendation for you, is to take a picture of your stabilizer positions and to only replace 1 stabilizer at a time that way you can make sure it’s properly lined up

Once you get them 🙂

If you also notice over time your stab keys sound or feel sticky, I’d also remove the pads underneath your stabilizers

quick eye test shows me that the housings of the default stabs are the same height, but the stem of the durock v3 is a HAIR taller. unsure if that's the reason why the keycaps fit snug

cause on the default stabs, they had a significant "see-saw" effect

Hello guys, I often have a hard time removing switches and I feel like the plate is being bent a lot, is there a risk that it actually get bent for real or that I damage anything?
When I pull out the switches I'm really afraid when I see how the plate moves

overtime it will become less sluggish and could provide better results than what it was before

if you're using the PC plate that comes w/the module, then it'll naturally warp a lot when pulling out stubborn switches.

for what it's worth, mine's still fully functional and hasn't negatively impacted the calibration/performance

BUT i have a friend who cracked their PC plate on a switch hole for the backspace button cause the plastic is thinner there

thankfully replacement switch plates aren't too pricey

When i bought my wooting about 5 months ago kept it stock never modded or opened it and ever since i got it my right shift key is so sticky like when i press it down it stays down and registers as a constant press really annoying

that means the lube from the stabs most likely dripped down under the stabilizers onto the pcb.

best fix to this is just remove the stabs and wipe the excess lube off the pcb and under the stabilizers, reinstall and you should be good to go. If you're worried about the stabs starting to rattle from the lube being dripped off, just add more into the stabs.
