It could be that the stab housing itself is defective or something

if you fill the stem up with lube

it should be a temporary fix

could get some 3rd party stabs like TX APs, Staebies or SW Knight V2s.

I would recommend getting the ttc magneto poms as they have a lower actuation force of ~48gs. They have been fantastic for FPS gameplay and the force for me is just right as I was using geon raw 50gs prior

From the RAW- POMs were never hard to press down, but found once I hit 0.1 actuation I wanted something slightly lighter over time. My favorite so far are the POMs (honestly they feel on par with 42.5-45g springs with their longer spring (faster bottom out rebound) and overall light feel

I can't speak to PCR myself, I went zinc/metal on all mine. The one real functional difference that I've heard from folks is that the PCR board may slide around on your desk more just due to lack of weight. This would annoy me, personally.

The force needed to depress a switch is mainly determined by the spring. You could put a lighter or heavier spring in a switch to change how "heavy" it is. More gf = more pressure needed and vice versa.

TTC’s springs aren’t available separately. You can use springs intended for KS-20 switches, they will work but have a slightly larger diameter (I haven’t noticed anything bad when using those in TTCs). You can get extended ones on Ali.

does anyone have any switch recommendations for me? ive had my 80he for a month now and im still trying to find the best switches. originally started with the 45g lekkers and they felt ok. switched over to 40g geon raw hes and these are way too light, i mispress all the time and i ended up having to set my actuation in wootility to like 1.5mm for it to feel okay typing. for context i used to mainly use cherry mx reds/ gateron reds/ switched over to ktt strawberries (which i love)

i wanted to go lighter because i mainly play games but im finding that im just accidentally strafing left or right because i lean my hand too heavy on the keyboard and itll actuate

i was thinking of looking at the 60g bottom out switches since the ktt strawberries are 62g bottom out force but i know that magnetic switches r a bit different in their feel in general so i was wondering if 50g would be a good middle ground?

RAWs are still the king for low cost switches, but TTC POMs currently are the max stability switches with extremely close to 0 wobble (so far my favorite switch)
