It's effectively a tape mod. You could toss some masking/painter's tape on it to get a similar effect, unless you really want the printing on it.

im having this issue since day 1 always thought its the keycap fault but since i changed a lot of keycaps i noticed it must be the stabs in the wooting or something on the board - at least 4 difrent keycap sets hafe this issue (but not all) Quick solution i put a tempo tissue under the right stab.. that solves it but i want it fixed any solution for that?

I might suggest to take the keycap off and take some pictures of the switch, the stabilizer sides, and the undersides of the keycaps, then post those to #1019755933959733258

it may have become unseated. it sucks that you have to deal with this, but it happens. opening the keyboard won't void your warranty. it's a small cable which connects the module to a daughterboard which holds the USB port

One thing I notice is I'm very heavy handed and will press the key down as the the way, and I drag my fingers across the board with typing so I and up accidentally trigger a key or two. Hey, got my Wooting 80he today. Has anyone also got some darker keys? For example, on the 'Prt Sc' key and 'Mode' key the LED is pretty shit because the O in mode is black over it

Hey I got my wooting 80he about a month ago and over the last couple of weeks ive noticed some keys think they are still pressed even after I've let go. Its mainly an issue when its one of the alt keys or fn keys and causes issues when typing or playing games.
I've opened the wootility v5 and it shows that even when my hands are off the keyboard that a key is being pressed down sometimes up to 0.35+ mm such as in this attached photo. Anyone know a solution/if this is a normal issue?

Maybe replugging fixed it even though for about 5 seconds after it was showing a key being held down by 0.11 mm. Although this does happen every time I start my pc. Maybe I just need to replug it in every time I start up my computer

I think its likely just a switch or something that is sticking or something.

I had the wooting 60HE for a long time and never had this issue which is weird

If anything it might go a little over time, because it can take longer than expected to have restocks go through customs and be inbound to the warehouses (and then a bunch of backorders all ready to be packed all at once)

Has anyone run into issues where your keyboard gets sticky key. Like not physically stuck, but while I'm playing overwatch sometimes (WASD) only one key gets stuck and I can't use any other input unless I physically disconnect the keyboard and then reconnect it. It's only ever happened to me on overwatch, but it's also the most played game for me.

Looks like. You might need to spring swap all of your switches to something heavier though. Otherwise they're going to feel very light suddenly.
