What work
but i dont remember what exactly he said
What case you talking about
luminkey lx60
Ah
but fancy looking boy
it also has gaskets
Yeah that looks like some MX shit.
HE not staying put there
I think with gummy mount it may not matter
How you gummy mount a gasket case tho
the pcb won't fall down cause it's already down
there are 2 ways of mounting in this case
Oh ok
only thing i can think of is the daughter board doesn't fit in there or somethin
I mean getting a frog leggera or whatever is the other variant called would be the easiest
but I want something different looking cause I have a frog mini already lol
bakeneko for 130
dolla
I've seen build videos, the db seems to be the same little square as on venom
an as on tofu 2.0
could be
it's just a little blocky for my taste haha
it do be blocky since its a budget board
i think lx60' gummy oring mount maybe more fancy too
its 2 piece case right?
yeah
Lx60 is an attractive case
it reminds me of my beloved freebird60, but even fancier

liking the looks
this thing is similar to what tofu 2.0 has, bowl on the bottom side and foam on top side
Yes.
designed by a dude named bowl btw xd
no way xD actually?
yeah there he is in loobed disc
what?
I think just ignorant racism
No clue what was meant there. I almost asked but then ignored
Yeah, seems sus

Thank god
baibai
What would you guys recommend for an aluminum case, pc or pom plate?
alu plate!
What sound profile and feel are you going for?
Iâd recommend starting here to get a general idea: #đŞâmodding_faq message
Lower pitch or "creamy"
I suppose PC would be better for me
yes
is divinikey a good website to order switches from ?
Yes
thank you
another question...the geon raw he switches have a total travel of 3.4mm does that mean all actuation settings for like lets say dks would have to be within that range right
the settings on wooting are more of a percentage rather than actual 4.0mm travel
Whos this Thackson guy
mr thackson has a phd in tape mod have some respect!
Seems to know stuff
hey guys fun fact apperiantly i have been part of sno hes roguecraft server for quite some time whitout me even noticing it i was going thru my servers and i saw sno x roguecraft haha i think it was kinda funny
I was on this discord for a while, and then I clicked on his profile and I remembered I used to read guides on roguecraft lol
haha yeah i searched for my name in hes discord the only message i found was to ask if there was an addon to track when ur in combat or out of combat or to see when ur about to go out combat haha rogue most fun class â¤ď¸
Beautiful
K so if I put this in it wonât destroy all the solder points
Question for folks, reccently got some paigu stabs and it came with some poron pads for the stabs which I understand but I'm not sure what this is for
Your solder is safe
Ok
Shouldn't worry about that, the tape isn't conductive.
Realistically you should only worry about static electricity.
Since tape likes to build a slight charge when you unroll it
Youâre fine put it together and clack
Those are shims for the clips of the stabilizers
helps hold them in place on the PCB
instead of coming out when you pull a keycap
you basically snap off those little end bits and shove them inside the legs of the stabilizers once they're installed to the PCB
Thanks
Hmm I think I got the wrong sizing because I cannot figure out how to get them in
What stabilizers are they and which PCB do you have?
you got the Paigu stabs for 1.6mm PCB right?
So I got stab A for 1.6 mm and maybe it should've been B?
you have to remove the plate to install them and that's if you have a compatible PCB that allows for Clip-Ins/Screw-Ins
Ooohhh
No A 1.6mm is correct
But if you have the OG 60HE PCB then that doesn't have support for Clip-In/Screw-In Stabs
I totally misinterpreted clip ins as being compatible with the earlier pcb version that didn't have screw in stabs
Ah yeah
?
i will do my best
well, what happened, they came like that or did you screw them on and now they dont unscrew?
so you know how they come already screwed?
yes
one of them wont budge.
ahhh, the screws yes
i know what you mean now
one of them reaches a certain point and then wont budge
WD40
i dont have any
yeah but it wont be as stable
and it wont budge still
my fingers hurt
so uh
any news on how to fix?
so youre trying to unscrew it and it will not unscrew any further?
ya
and you also tried using a flathead?
i did but it didnt work
so when you keep unscrewing, does it refuse to even budge, or does it keeps spinning but it doesn't "unscrew" so to say
so basically it stays at one point, where its half way and no amount of torque would budge
i would suggest providing video evidence, and use the support wizard if these components are not separating
so it refuses to budge
no its ok
but yeah you wanna use the support wizard abd see if you can request replacement parts
https://wooting.io/support
going through this will help us organize our support tickets
Pick the category and issue you need help with, and we'll guide you through the process.
which one should i pick for the reasoning?
I wouldn't suggest it, but if you really want to, then make sure there is a piece of rubber or silicone (like ab elastic band) so there is more grip and no metal on metal scraping (I will not guarantee it will work
if i ask support wizard will i have to pay to get them replaced?
when you get in touch with support, they will give you information on that, as far as I am concerned, no. I got a replacement keycap switch puller because I broke mine free of charge
ah ok
"delivered but theres a problem"
probably under "product is damaged"
then you explain with photo and video evidence
will one photo suffice or not?
i would suggest taking a video of you trying to unscrew the strap screw so they see what the issue is along with the explanation
both hands and flathead
HEY i want to have a point on one keys i dont find it in wootility
i did with both hands and not a flat head
also try a flathead, do both
and they will see its a problem
ok
Hey everyone, I have the 60he with the original switches and I am not sure how to upgrade. I am torn apart between the lekker 45 v2 and the jade maxes. Any input?
Jade maxes have issues
I use they keyboard both for gaming as well as my it-sec job.
How so? Do the pros have them as well?
It would be nice the get some facts besides just saying get those or donât buy thisâŚ
Also I already ordered the optimum case with the friction pad but yeah - I would also like to change the switches. Mainly for less wobble and better sound.
I just kind of fear of increasing typos with the 45s
jade pros are very nice, wobble is way less compared to lekkers and they sound much cleaner
Even compared to the v2 lekkers?
Yes.
Hm, are you sure? Did you compare them yourself?
Yes, I am sure
what switches are compatible with mizar mz60 luna
Is there any other downside when switching from lekkers? Is the travel distance the same?
I also wish Wooting would sell the optimum caps in a ISO variant :((
no downside, you just get 3.5mm travel distance instead of 4mm
i think the general opinion here is lekker v2 is fine, but i dont own them myself.
jade max many have said that they have problem though.
I guess I will go for the jade pros then. Yeah, I also get the drift of the lekkers v2 being solid but the jades are peak but ofc also 70âŹ
jade pros cost like 30-40 on aliexpress when there is a sale
I would suggest to wait for a sale if you want to get them cheaper
jade pro are not necessarily the best. lekker v2, raw he, jade pro, and maybe ttc pom. are all fine, they just different
maybe ttc pom
The constant shade will not prevent my man KoM from shining brightest
if you just trying things out i personally think raw he is the most reasonable option because it is the cheapest amount the good options while being at the same level of quality
lekker v2s are fine but if they want less wobble, its a bad choice
talk to me after a 50% discount
i am too poor to hear you
I couldnt stand how wobbly they were
im pretty sure lucifers are way better switches than lekkers and they cost 0.25$/pc
jade pro is not exactly good on wobble at least from what i have.
are you sure you have jade pros?
but yee thats not the point, then its between jade pro and raw he again

i am typing on them right now
got bored of my raws might as well break these in
well yea jade pros have worse wobble than ttc koms but way better than lekker v2s
slightly better than raws
Buying gaterons on aliexpress? Huh?
Yes, from reputable seller
really? i think raw is better with wobble, but i gotta check later. too lazy right now
bottom not sure but top jade moves a bit
yes, jade pros have less bottom wobble. on top they might be the same
if you find free shipping its pretty good
I do not support aliexpress, temu etc and neither should you.
top raw is pretty tight, because i remember doing a raw + neo thing and that was tight up to bottom
I dont care about aliexpress, if im using it, im buying from a reputable seller and never had issues
90 switches for $55 with the shipping
Bruh - look it up. They are not providing good conditions for their employees, paying bad and selling potentially dangerous products just so you can buy things dirt cheap. I will not start a discussion here so I will leave it with this.
this is bottom stability
Are you using amazon?
gud info, didn't know lekker v2 is that far out there
yes lekker v2s are disappointment, even mad60 stock switches are more stable
Good point but aliexpress and temu are much worse and that is a fact.
makes sense too because for my neo + raw thing it was neo bottom & spring + raw top & stem
what does this show
because that only considers the bottom
Nevertheless - thanks for the input on the switches @sacred elm
then buy from gateron. com when there is a sale. you can get 70pc for 50$ or something from gateron
same price on amazon
amazon expensive for some things lol
most of them havent tried jade pros at all, they have raws and say its better
ahh gotcha
theyre similar
bout to make me order some jade pros as well to see đ
no one ever mentions open bottom vs clossed bottom in terms of lube đ
they are better because of the price
not on amazon lol
then yea get whatever is cheaper
90 switches was like 85$
What are these? https://amzn.eu/d/bSl6gg0
especially for your first one
TTC POM?
theyre MX switches
Jade yellow pro v3?
not compatible with wooting
i got the raw hes from divinikey for 55$
I try everything
Are, I am blind. Thanks.
wait which board you on?
60 or 80
Yessir
ordered the 80he
I said most of them, not all
how are sticky rice v2s
what pcb was this tested on?
ahh yea 55 you get like 70 jade pro i think
almost here. been tracking it. it took a detour sightseeing in ontario canada apparently lol
closed bottom, less messy with lube â¤ď¸
Okay those I havenât tried
Cause I know they poop
meh
Other people in here have tried em
pudding?
probably wooting, not sure
they sound clean, loud af, but wobble like mf on top
well thats useful
Pudding?
rice pudding is sticky rice by another maker
yeah on amazon jade pros were 10$ cheaper than the raw hes for the amount of switches i need. but divinikey had them at 8.50 for every 18 switches
Nah I havenât tried em
You popping the KoMs in tonight Cam?
mr aligner just showed them last night
never knew they were the same
Yeah I saw
mr cam luring from the shadows
Yeah Iâll probs stream for the peepo
"we will test the switches but not tell you what board we used to test them" is what it sounds like to me
what about everglides master he or skyline those any good?
I was calibrating sdr/hdr on me monitor
milktooth has test on master and skyline i think
but that guy a bit...
scammy
just a tiny little bit
milktooth...
wait did i type that wrong
no
I wouldnât say scammy, just using the buzz words
he made a top 5 he, raw he not even on the list. guess what is top one and where you can buy them with exclusive discount
Hmm
Does it make sense to switch out the stock stabilizers?
a little bit
Not unless youâre having issues tbh
BUT I DONT WANT TO TUNE MY STAB CAM SIR
So just holee mod and thatâs it?

is the rattle that bad? cauz usually some XHT-BDZ or even dielectric grease can fix rattle
Here is how I mod my stabilizers. I get asked this a lot of my streams and honestly, I figured why not just record this so I can link this video instead of having to re-explain it every time. I hope you enjoy it. Please remember this video is only covering lubing and installing, some stabs like cherry clip-ins, you'll need to clip the bottom leg...
I just never got around to modding my stock 60he and now that I am waiting for the optimum case I want to do anything I can to make it as nice as possible.
W
i wish i can be proactive like that
I mean, if there is nothing obviously wrong with your stabs, they're fine then.
https://www.twitch.tv/camofflife alright nerds
oh nice, I will lurk for a bit
I've hit my end game by just stuffing more foam in the case
What'd you call me? Oh, yeah, ok. Enjoy the King đ
Oh @harsh dove the TTC stems come bone dry, you may want to lube (don't have Twitch or I'd comment in there)
what switches are you using?
Geon raw hes
I guess hand lubed raws?
Nope
nah hand lubed deeper
i kinda regrad hand lubing raw actually, or i just want to try some raw raw he
Jade pros and geon raw are pretty similar I think? I just went with raws because they seemed like they had better tolerances
bottom out a bit different
Oh true
actually top out different too, raw pretty quiet on top out
jade pro top out is more noticible
and for bottom out raw sounds a bit... leaky but not in a bad way
me no making sense but i tried
jade pro is cleaner bottom out since its closed bottom.
fr4 and cf
jade pro + cf + 80he time
My office is in my home. That'd be tresspassin' brotha.
ahh damn thats nice
Got great coffee
i am on jade pro + alu right now, its beautiful
Nice, I don't have an alu to try out. I think the harder plate livens them up a bit (compared to PC, at least)
oh yea
cf i dont dig honestly, tried them a bit, i think too loud to a point that is like... messy. alu hits different but i dont know why
i almost want to try coping alu with foam later on if i find alu on certain board is too loud
I still have to try out FR4, just don't have much motivation to at the moment đ¤ˇ
Pretty happy with things the way they are
fr4 would be really muted switching from cf
Sure, but I'm back to PC for my KoMs. I might at some point try FR4 with them.
PC takes them down from insane (on CF) to just loud

that is why i am so curious what would mr cam think about it
hes building cf + kom pom right now
FR4 + TTC will be nice I think
being a pus i would probably do pc + ttc first
i think the spacebar would kill me with fr4 + ttc
mods?
I tried KoM + CF for about a week before I backed out. It's just a lot. I think it scared my dog.
FR4 is kinda meh compared to CF for clack, once you try CF you realize that you hit the maximum capacity for Jade pros clackiness
ngl i think jade pro + cf scared my cat as well
LMAO
I removed my tape mod and foam for science and I didnât even notice a single difference
That shit is scary tbh
My pros are on CF and I like them there. I'm considering trying FR4 as a middle ground for my KoMs.
Theyâd be nice, Iâd love for an 80HE aluminum plate option
Those would be goated for KOM I think
But FR4 would be a nice middle ground
Alu is above FR4 but below CF yeah?
Itâs one above fr4, but below brass and CF
Got a laugh outta me which isn't easy
Oh right I always forget brass
Iâm almost tempted to try brass, curious how the metal counterparts do
But I think Iâve maxed out the Jade pros and anything else is going to disappoint me
Yeah you can kinda tell when you've heard some switches in a bunch of different ways and got them sounding just right for you.
@kind helm were you the one that went in on the RNG salvation?
i am the dumb ass who brought it for 300 last year
Lubed Jade pros is the only thing that comes close to marbly clack without getting plasticky, even CF might be overboard a bit, but it shall stand the test of time until I have to swap it out if it gets to be too loud
Oh đ
really?
lubed jade pro seems pretty similar to jade pro for me, but maybe i was too sleepy to tell
I didn't do any lubing on my pros. I guess that's the last thing I could do to that setup for now.
why are knight v2 stabs sold out everywhere LMAO
Atleast my batch for Jade pros had a slight plastickyness to it stock
Because I bought them all, sorry đŚ
So I lubed the springs and stems quite aggressively and it went away
wizard was the one who gambled
Ah TY
i am almost afarid of lubing them since i feel like my tainted raw he is really different from the stock one
Unless you go overboard and do every component I think you should be ok
i almost dont wanna change jade pro for what it is in a way
just bag lube springs
I had to bench a few of mine but it should be ok
that will eliminate plasticky sound when you tap
But if yours isnât plasticky I prob wouldnât bother
Oh did you fuck up some raws like me?
I have a set that I need to clean off. I thought I went easy on them but they just weren't quite right.
i did fuck it up, but i cleaned and did it again
only took 6 to 8 hours of my life
worth
man those raw he + fr4 + salvation was fckin hot
PC plate, poron foam, three layer tape mod, o ring mount, tofu60 redux w/ weight, and two of the tofu foam things
right now i am struggling with jade pro with salvation
not sure what the setup should be, alu seems to be the best but a bit louder than i like

PBTFans cap sets are good quality
just got a set on wednesday from pbtfan, me like
Lovely set
bet
tryna find a good black blank set
best i could find
i think
are these good keycaps
heyh guys, does anybody play gta on Wooting?
If youâre US based zkeebs should have some (wire balanced and prelubed), but I believe designer stabs also have a black option too
zkeebs
no
only clear
this tho?????
Ah
Yeah I think thatâs the one
Yeah Iâm a fan of the starry night stabs
But it seems itâs been OOS forever
OOS?
Out of stock
ooo
yeah
i legit have black pc plate, black redux, black lucifer switches, blank black keycaps. so the starry night would be sick af with that build
They might be worth waiting for
Wonât see your stabs luckily enough until you get the starry night
yeah fair
stabs is the last thing i need to finish my final build
hmmm
it is pretty dope tho
wish there was a black version of it
are rubber keycaps worth it
About a year ago Mike Taylor and I both showed up to a writing session in our black cars wearing all black. We joked about it for a while, but then starting working on a song. From the style of wearing all black to Nina Simone interviews, there was so much inspiration. People always ask me how long it took to write the track - it was the most ef...
w
what is the best stabs ot
out
"best" i should say
To my knowledge knight V2s are pretty good (V3s are out), and the designer ones
Using V2s atm
i cant find v3s

Everything is also sold out which checks
Iâd say you canât go wrong with V2/V3 or designers, I donât think stabs are as important over other components, but knight V2s have treated me well with my build
yeah i wanted black either way
so v3s
or starry nights if i feel adventerous
notthat they are in stock anyway lmao
yea it feels the most natural to me
yeah same
way my thumb naturally rests is on the edge of it
flipped and it's resting on it nicely instead
Sounds better too

Or:
hello! i've been thinking about getting a wooting but i wanna use different switches and the switches i wanna use has a total travel of 3.5. is there a calibration feature on the wooting?
Everytime the keyboard turns on, it automatically calibrates
@tropic urchin
Oh shi what I miss
TTC POM stream
oh sweet does it? thanks!
This is how I imagine this is gonna sound:
How were they?
Got a recording @harsh dove
How do the switches feel
@harsh dove I had to split during the lube job. You a KoM convert?
Yeah, they're pretty clean, but expensive
@harsh dove I tried removing my foam and PET film and like CF literally has maxed out my jades something fierce, I had like no difference in sound đ
Yeah I agree they're a bit much which is too bad. I hope they come down.
But tapping on them is fun
ooh i spy knight V2 stabs giga based
heres a quick one
for now there isnt a setting, but it will auto calibrate. I suggest tapping your keys a few times while calibrating
is there a prompt that lets u know that its calibrating? sorry if these questions are elementary but im just curious before i can get my hands on one lol
thats ok, no there isnt a prompt, it takes usually 30 seconds upon the keyboard powering up
ah i see so in those 30 seconds u tap on a few keys and the board will recognize what switches im using ya?
Bro was sent by the opps
Yo does anyone know if 4 layer tape mod is too much
With like some simple masking tape
How much do you usually do?
might want to clean up provokers recent posts, he spammed every channel with that trolling nonsense
think rest of mods still asleep cause of timezone
Also for slight racism, saying/implying the n word
actually cam might still be awake, he's US based isn't he @harsh dove
eu guys definitely still sleeping, unless they're on that igor 5am wakeup schedule
yeah
there might be some extra cleanup needed in general lol, he might have said some questionable things when we pointed out his broken wooting image is someone elses photo from 2 months ago
sorry im bouncing between work and break
all good one of you guys got it i see lol
we got a lot of ppl today I was about to report but smt came up and had to be summoned outta break
taken care of, ty lol
This looks very clean
Last one in stock had to buyđ
@harsh dove Watcha thoughts on the katakana edition?
same with the X RAYs I got
I got the last of its stock
all good i fell asleep and miss the second part when bro started lubing
Was worth it
even tho I was exhausted
These things sound and feel great
good to know, i remember you were hesitating after the first one
Hell ya bruh
Yeah hard to tell a difference until they're actually in the board but like Sno said, lubing these is def worth and gives a cleaner sound overall
yea that sounds great, i was wondering if cf works nicer with 80he since the mount is so soft
I actually feel like the gasket mount is on the stiffer side on the 80HE, but yeah I do like the CF plate with it
cf plate?
Carbon Fiber
i just watched a video on youtube and the end sound he got from his 80he is đ
nice.
i thought it would be softer since with most of the gasket you still have like a piece of metal/plastic in the gasket but with 80he its just that whole piece of foam/pad holding the pcb up.

Alright, Brandon making me whip out the tape mod again
Been awhile
that sound he got is đ¤¤đ¤¤đ¤¤
His sound was a bit muted for my taste but not terrible
im gonna try the tape mod
Yeah itâs a cheap and easy to do mod
saw people talking about it earlier saying 3layers should be fine
And can experiment with different materials
Yeah if youâre using painters tape
đ¤đ¤ what tape you use
Topreâ˘/HHKBâ˘/EC PCBs: See disclaimer below!Wooting⢠compatible - just needs some extra cutouts and be extra careful in case you remove it.KEEBTAPE consists of 1mm thick industrial use micro suction material, it is not the same material as store bought "acrylic tape".It is divided into 15 individual pieces, from 1u sing
Iâve also tried Moleskin tape
Which can be nice
this one good though? is that what u have ?
Yeah thatâs what this is in the photo
holy moly
big ass role of painters tape for 4 bucks
or 10 bucks for single use pieces
They're not single use
I've removed these and re-used them like 10+ times
on multiple boards
that was the right one nvm lol, new sound test with tape mod and polyfill
@dark cypress
đŽâđ¨đŽâđ¨đŽâđ¨
kinda sloppy but tis fine lol
nah it sounds good
yeah, just was doing a quick video so I feel like it's sloppy lol
The stock ones are fine if you take the time to lube and tune them but if you really want new ones then I really like the Swagkeys Knights Stabilizers
but you can also get cheaper ones that are just fine or like I said, keep the stock ones
those come lubed? the knights?
ill read into it. and like u said maybe just try lubing the stock ones. gotta read up on this now đđ
Lol TLDR, its just a list of good stabs to choose from that Alexotos likes, and even tho it's not a tier list, he basically ranks the Knight Stabs as one of the best, only other one he'd consider higher is the Cherry Clip Ins due to their price, he says
ahh gotcha. well ima look up how to lube and tune stabilizers đ
Video from him as well
one thats shared commonly here

Hello Guys,
I was wondering If low profile switches are going to Work with the wooting pcbs? This questions comes with https://mechkeys.com/products/ttc-mini-magneto?variant=46656224067807 These new seiches hold in mind. I thought a bit about it, and I think, the magnetic calibration, needs to be programmed special, in order to work well with Low Profile switches.
nope, won't work
Sadge, because of Software or physical fitting reasons?
Thank you for the fast reply btw.â¤ď¸
magnet is in wrong spot, so it will never be compatible
how many layers of tape
tape mod does a lot for the sound
i did 2 layers of tape mod + polyfill + lubed jade pros in zinc alloy case
i still havent even decided on the keycaps i want to use yet tho
so when testing sound i just take a couple from my main kb and see how it feels
i was considering adding 1-2 more layers of tape maybe
i mean i use generic masking tape so its really thin
Very nice, yeah this is the PCR Case (im sure you could tell lol) with Carbon Fiber Plate, TTC POMs [hand lubed], KeebTape and Polyfill
yeah im trying to get something closer to thocky
Yeah I think the ideal is 3 but I think I've seen some do 4
im not sure, the sound is also decently influenced by the keycaps themselves
so i really should just order them already
so i can make sure im modding for the sound im actually going to get
Yeah forsure, depends on materials and even keycap thickness can have an effect
Never imagined the day of you u singg tape mod haha
sounds good tho right?
Yup
We are not who we were yesterday
Sheeee
Is this, writing fire? đĽ
Mu nephew be saying that when someone spitting bars or preach lmao
Good move on the tape mod @harsh dove .
The board really emphasizes on the lows and mids now compared to without the tape mod, which sounds better imo, esp how the volume of the switch with CF sounded quite a bit low without the tape mod in comparison. +100 points for clouds
đ¨
Ok I'm maaaad tripping with english
Read this shi 5 times at least and I feel like what I'm saying doesn't make sense or it doesn't sound like how I want it to sound
when you're writing with a flow, that can sorta happen
or when you're tired or sleep deprived. drugged to I guess
100% agree, good explanation bro
Anyone ordered from geonworks? Can you delete account after order?
Does anyone know of a good keyboard kit thatâs inexpensive and supports ISO? I was thinking of getting my brother the transition lite but itâs ansi only and maybe thereâs other options out there that fit better
mizar mz60 luna
what you use to lube the stabilizers
i see 105 for springs and 205 for switches
Just 205 for most stabilizers. Thicker grease can be used as well for the wire.
are there still compatibility issues with the sticky rice v2 and the wooting?
iâm mostly just looking for a creamy/thocky sound profile so thatâs all i really care about. i also saw the sticky rice are pretty much the same as the rice pudding, is this true? perhaps considering the ws dash he otherwise, please lmk any thoughts or opinions! (open to suggestions)
Sticky Rice V2s never had any reported issues, so no. The issues the V1s had seem to have been resolved through new firmware.
Sticky Rice V2s arenât thocky by the way. Theyâre quite loud and clacky.
interesting, everything iâve seen has suggested otherwise. how would you describe the sound profile on the rice puddings then?
Hereâs the visual difference between the three: #đ§âkeyboard_modding message
The Rice Puddings are still clacky but not as loud as Sticky Rice V2s are.
Slightly lower pitched than Jades.
tl;dr all of the HE switches with closed bottom are clack city. Some are a little less clack city but still heavily investing into clack tower, clack condo and clack villas
thock doesn't exist at all in terms of what 'custom keyboard' folk call thock in HE keyboards
i have realized that but twas a dream lol
we can thock with some foam and cotton though, like its not gonna thock like mx board but it will thock
raw he and jade pro do sound very clean though, while having a very non wobbly stem, so that's just what most folks end up going with since at least their sound is very clean
Clack tower and villas sound like a nice time
Yes. Then if you go carbon fiber plate with ttc magneto pom switch you get clack skyscraper penthouse
Not great for restful sleep tho
With a lighthouse light shining everywhere
I look down from above at the clackless peasants below
What simple lives they must lead
from up here they look like ants
âWe want thoccâ
time to get pom and go pom + cf + tray mount to to go above and beyond with maximal clack
maxiaml stability
maximal loudness
Minimal sanity
so 205 would be for everything on the stabilizer ?
Thatâs not in a high supply around these parts
For most stabilizers, thatâs fine, yes.
you will feel your sanity slowly slipping away, your pet too scared to come near you, you stop hearing anything else but that clacky fuckery
ok thank you

thank you đđ˝
does the middle part matter at all, because with mr alexotos method the middle part is bound to bend a bit
not really, there can be a slight bend in the middle without any issues. the sides being aligned are the most important.
If they arenât aligned, then youâll have ticking.
like that
thatâs bad.
simple yet clear, what a beautiful diagram
exaggerated, but you get the point. a slight bend like that is fine.
would anyone know if cera keycaps will work with everglide rice puddings or the jade pros? lol
cerakeys?
bad
welcome back sir
dont buy rice puddings if u can just buy luficers no?
67 cents a switch on milktooth is diabolical
they work fine with any of the wooting compatible switches. Beware of qc issues though, you may have to do an exchange or two to get them all fully 'straight' aligned
that and they're generally a bit of a slippery keycap since they're ceramic, so I don't know how much i'd want to use them for daily gaming
*also you'll need to spring swap the space bar for sure, and maybe even the rest of the switches depending on how much tension you want in your switch keys
or buy a normal no-fuss keycap set
jade pros for example at roughly 50g bottom out, so space bar won't work well 100% and the other keys may feel a little more sluggish return than you'd like
Iâm gonna buy a wooting in a few days, and I donât know how do I lube my switches. Like Iâm gonna get a gateron magnetic jade and I want a quiet sound and a smooth click, anyone to help?
swapped pc plate with fr4 đ¤ will try cf too in couple days
jades arent quiet
ik
ki like it
but i want to lube to make smoother ou quieter
đ do you find fr4 being loud?
louder than pc for sure
then if youre going for jades, get jade pros
where i can get that
any good site?
gateron. com
kj
I like that its way stiffer than pc, 80he pc plate is like silicon plate lol
yea i remember seeing on mr.cam's stream
flopping like crazy
someone liked what they saw
fr4 had almost no flex
i think with fr4 they should only be bounce already when typing, you gotta put a bit of force to flex it
i feel like fr4 is a good balanced plate for 80he, pc was way too soft for me
bro preparing his body and mental for cf

is there any switch that would be like gateron jade pro from the wooting site?
wooting sells regular jades, but theyre just worse version of jade pros
they sell jades if u got any discounts. I have both, if ur not a hobbyist and u can get them at a good price, from ther website, take it if youi like them.
try ordering from aliexpress when there is a sale on jade pros, or just get geon raw he
if youre from EU get geon raw he from deltakeyco
if youre from NA get from divinekey
im sa
hmm, check aliexpress then and get either of those two from reputable sellers
ok
you can use 2 different type of lekker switches at the same with no issues correct? like l60 and a 45 one?
ye
its like more concentrated towards the center than every angle being a flopping fish trying to breathe
that PC edge to edge flop is CRAZY
someone gotta put the PC plate in the NBA ong
last step towards full custom board đĽš
actually why doesnt it say v2 on the package
yea
yea if there is not gateron, then its v2
Those are not V2s.
If thatâs your question.
how can you tell
thats the old ones
And the package does say V2.
OMG YOURE RIGHT
Translucent bottom housing (V2s are completely opaque).
lmaooo

is this gonna make my board too cozy
i kinda wanted to dampen it now im concerned about heat
last night i realized it gets a little warm when i unlock tachyon stability cap even without mods
The 60HE+ does NOT get hot enough to cause fire.
đđ
Nice my silicone caps arrived
what are geons new he switches called?
This will do for now untill i get my hands on the leggera đ
thatâs good
Yup
what do you mean by cause fire?
You use Lekkers, so Full Travel.
Joking.
ordered geon raw hes as well đ
are they better than raws?
full travel will work with the raws too ?
Full Travel still. If your keycaps are of decent quality you wonât have any issues.
No, theyâre just closed bottom Hejins. Not anything special about them.
went with those steelseries ones.
got both colors cuz i couldnt decide if black or white so i got both đ and just gonna make my own pattern
Those are fine. You wonât have issues with Full Travel.
copy thank you đđ˝
Theyâre ISO compatible right?
si seĂąor
mb
we all look alike đ
đđ
đđ
Here a sound test for who wants đ
stats?
Tofu redux case with tofu redux foam, silicone caps over the standoffs for better sound, venom pcb, friction pad from wooting, alu plate , geon raw switches and in a few days my gmk keycaps
did you get the weight?
for tofu redux
Yup i did
have you tried without the redux foam?
you guys think we'll ever get HE springs under 28g? đ
maybe a bit more echoey and metallic
Here is one whitout the foam and whotout the silicone caps i put on
maybe a bit too harsh
ordered đđ˝
Yeah that is why i put the silicone caps and the foam in
We got 400g springs and 10mm springs, Iâm sure weâll see 20g springs someday.
Also, what the frick are you gonna use lighter springs for?
do you want ur spring force and keycap weight to be in equilibrium
đ
Could be useful for rhythm game
đđ
Just set the actuation really low like 3.5mm
i want to test ze limits of how low i can go and comfortably type.
Are you comfortably typing on 28g?
I really loke my build i am curious about how it will sound with the gmk keycaps tho and with a fr4 plate i ordered
well, i was. But I didn't attempt to speed type on them. Going back to them tomm when I get the 22mm 28g springs I ordered, lol.
will let you know.
fr4 will be really muted compare to alu, gmk would make your board sound a little bit higher pitch
assuming what you have is pbt
Yup
It would be impressive if you can tbh. Are you a wrist rest user?
Makes sense.
28g is not that light really, I tried 12g choc springs before lol
now those were interesting
Hmm when i get fr4 i will compare and see what i loke best
Without wrist rest, I rest on the keys which isnât enough to actuate them but with 28g itâs annoying.
I like slightly more resistance
ah ya. u need wrist rest for sure.
I do think the silicone caps i used help tho for the sound
Nah, hinders how easy I move. I tried and without is better for me.
My hands get lazy with a wrist rest
Well, need wrist rest for uber light springs^^
yeah
or just donât use springs that light. đĽ´
You use them with your keyboard as well?
Might try that
And my right hand is connnected
G2.0 for right hand
So whether mouse or keyboard itâs in place
I like it quite a bit
I also use an XXL pad tho
So thereâs that
Good combo
I kind of want their little Air things tho
Sometimes it gets a little sweaty lol
was in game, lol. you prob gotta try more wrist rests, diff heights. Maybe you need taller/shorter ones.
in fact, without wrist rest, could be fine too because your hands are now raised and weight is still on the palm, on the desk.
But theyâre dumb expensive for a small part lol
Not everyone has to use wrist rest. Itâs ok lol
that looks hella fancy, do you use the one on your right hand
doesn't it kinda block your motion
Yeah the strap one on right hand
Nah
Iâm full fingertip grip on low sens and I love it
hmmmm interesting
the price is a pain but this might help. it wouldnât hinder movement as with a full size wrist rest
havenât tried many tbf but I move my hand a lot when gaming. not really sure why
like from side to side, slightly.
that is a nice setup
It was a little weird at first cuz it kind of does slow your wrist down for mouse a tiny bit.
why is the monitor so far to the left though
But I got used to it
yea that was my thinking
unless they have like glide or whatever that is call on the bottom
Yeah thereâs something
But no skates tho
Thatâs where i usually have monitor
Not as helpful of a pic đ
mmm, very close to face
well he said he can't use 28g comfortably without the wrist rest, which is what we were talking about.
that's crazy, you're using that carpio rest for KB. I tried it for mouse, didn't like it.
Iâve been chasing âthockâ and finally just gave up
XD
What your components tho
just alumaze and the regular pcb screwed in
I am pretty sure your board is thocking already, kilmat + plate foam
wanted to mute the highs :D
Stock Steel plate and stock lekkers?
Itâs more thick than clack but still pretty mid
Iâd probably get the pc plate and the friction fit pad then
And youâre chilling
pc plate would be the thing for sure
Maybe lube up the switches if you want
I oil the hell out of my springs lol
Like half a drop per spring type shit
goated setup
btw, its possible to debadge the saturn pro
i found out when cleaning it once
a bit of text started to flake so i decided to take it all off
maybe i need better keycaps too, i think these are just a little thin cause theyre cheap
theyre so thin they bleed rgb where the stems are
Ah nice. Yeah I havenât washed mine yet. Definitely preferred the old school minimal logo.
ive had mine about half a year, washed it like 4 times now and this 4th time 2 weeks ago i guess i scrubbed a bit too rough over the text
Nice. Yeah I use to have a Venus for a while and washed it once.
ok what the hell is that mouse đ
I usually just use bathtub and fingers with free and clear laundry detergent
Aim bot
nahhuh
Goated
Lolz true I still hold it
The only wireless mouse that looks somewhat interesting is the zeromouse blade
is that a thing wooting sells themselves or from a 3rd party
Wooting sells them
i see, thanks :D
