Is it common for there to be a height difference between keycaps with the same OEM profile?

I just found out after getting an HM66 keyboard and trying to use Wooting white keycaps. Both are described as PBT OEM, but neither mentioned anything about height. Turns out the Wooting keycaps are taller than the HM66 ones. When I was using the Wooting keyboard, I didn’t notice anything, but now that I’m comparing them, I feel like I have to put just a bit more effort to press the taller Wooting keycaps compared to the lower HM66 ones.

How do you figure out the height of OEM keycaps before buying? Seems like most listings don’t mention it.

Usually Cherry profile is the one that can differ slightly because other companies don't have og cherry molds but otherwise oem should be the same

Pingy as in a bit like a bell. Because it’s fairly thin and cast I think. I used it with Jades as well, it’s fine really.
