smoothness, wobble are i think objective, force is more preference, sound is unique to each switch more or less(you can modify the sound with foam/ different mounting methods) but some i would say are just bad and can't/too difficult to be fixed :3

I have a couple questions about keycaps. I'm going with the 60he+ module and a tofu60 redux case, I'm undecided on color scheme/keycaps at the moment. I'm wondering how important it is to have backlit keycaps like the PBT ones that wooting sells? I know the RGB on the wooting has utility too for showing which modes you're in, and is not purely aesthetic. I'm also wondering if I should specifically seek out a cherry profile set over an OEM set? Lastly, I'm wondering how much more GMK keycaps shine compared to PBT keycaps over time since they use ABS, but I understand it's a very high quality ABS so that's why I'm not really sure.

I do love the 80He, but I prob should've given a better timeline

But the TL;DR is I got my current keyboard Rog Azoth in like April/May, I was debating between going in on the 80HE probably when the founders just ended, getting the 60HE or going for the Azoth and I went with the Azoth. My regret stems from not getting the 60 over the Azoth

but I would've had my own issues with the lack of extra keys, but it worked out fine anyway

im not too fond of it, too many dedicated features , no exploded f row or arrow keys for me

also design is really not for me

but I played wow the same day I installed them and never noticed anything of the sort

it definitely is stickier if I deliberately press like you described, and comparing to geon raws it is less smooth

but somehow I don't run into this when typing or gaming

I think the two rails that the stem has have more friction against the housing

because they have less surface to rub against the housing, compared to non dual rail switches

well they are both very successful I'd say
geon does a ton of other keyboard stuff and raws seem to be very popular, while gateron still makes a lot of sales to the masses

PC on PC even if not dual rail will probably still be a bit stickier than other HE switches

cause jade maxes seem to be sticky even if you press against the front and back directions

but maybe it's still dual rail that affects this

actually that's what I did with black knight top housings when I was making jade knights

because krytox on oil was bad for smoothness

so I cleaned them all and relubed with krytox
