It was originally waiting to see more Jade Max sound tests since Gateron cant be bothered to, then Geon released theirs comparing the Raw vs Max and it was largely the same which took me off the bandwagon. I was between the Pros and RAW for what I wanted for sound purposes, but obv its not going to be a complete 1:1 with different keyboard mods and what not.

No point rushing to a decision when the keyboard isnt close to being here anyway

That’s normal for a space bar to be like that. If you want to alter the sound then you do a space bar mod like foam insert or similar

It sounds like that due to being a large long empty bar, so filling it with things helps

you can cut your own foam or buy it from aliexpress and other keyboard shops

You can also lube the stabs to remove the noise bit of 205g0, dielectric grease or XHT-BDZ works wonders don't even have to remove the stabilizers most of the time if you have it in a syringe

Because it’s not a full manual lube but a quicker factory lube you’ll get occasional space bars that tick, some that don’t

Just have to relube the stab manually if you get one that isn’t ideal

agreed, personally im into the custom side of keyboards and stabilizers is an area where i will always go out and buy the very best there is, both in terms of stabiliers (Either Aeboards Staebies or TX clip ins), and lubricant. Always Krytox 205g0 for the housings and Krytox XHT-BDZ for the wires

This is what I've used for quite some time purely because you can get different colors. It's ever so slightly more thin than normal painter tape but it's easy to just add more if you need. ok i used 1 x m2**6 screw for the usb port standoff. with normal burger mount

and 4 x m2*8 screws for the remaining standoffs. with an additional o-ring on the underside of the pcb

usb port tighten down pretty tight, just enough to line up the port. the other 4 just make sure they are firm and dont wiggle

used 3 layers of tape. i think 5 layers would require a m2*8 for the usb port as well

Ok we need to reiterate something about mods. In a keyboard, mods are use to fix or tune something in a keyboard that you don't like. I would first recommend getting the keyboard first then go on from there.
Now about your list, "creamy and thock" is a sound profile not a mod. New switches is something you need to look into as everyone has a different preference and depending on your budget. Stabilizer shouldnt really need to be changed unless there is REALLY something wrong with the ones you have. Holee mod shouldn't really be needed unless there is a real problem with the rattle in your stabs.

I am now a massive sw knight stab stan

I used a tiny bit of 205 on the housing/stem and a small bit of dielectric grease, good to go

no touch ups really need at all

I only swapped out my spacebar, I love cherry clip ins but I always find the spacebar a bit tough

I usually remember my keycaps in terms of like separate sections.
Like QWERTY (layout) thats one section, then UIOP (another), ASD (from WASD), F and J being your index spots, G and H being in between, KL after J, Z cus its in a spot where you dont reach :D, XCVB I have my val keybinds their so thats how i remember it but usually B i remember cus it's right in the middle of the spacebar, NM are bottom right two.
