I have some slight flex with my friction mounted FR4 plate but it's not noticeable unless you're really pressing down.

Looks like this is the difference between Jades (left) and Geon Raws structure

On Jades the stem hits the bottom plastic, which has a little pin and gives sharper bottom out feel

On Raws the stem hits the plastic ring that is positioned around the bottom hole and seems to feel a bit softer to me

Raws tolerances are ofc way better than on normal Jades, but I'm curious to try out Jade Pros or Jade Max now, to see if this bottom out feel combined with improved tolerances is better

Modified a lucky 65 to weight 4.5lbs with a brass plate and used a cotton filament with a very very thin brushed on layer of liquid electric tape to get rid of high pitched resonances in the case. I also managed to tension a copper foil sheet onto the plate in order to add support to it and I put a layer of non tensioned copper foil behind painters tape behind the PCB.

If you use the Black Knight’s stem with a Raw HE bottom that can happen, you can just use the Black Knight top housing with the Raw HE bottom and stem but there’s no benefit in that really, just aesthetics maybe?

It's genuinely different than physically sticking something to the keycap, sticky tape, any form of DIY dampening to the spacebar. You'd just have to try one to see and experience it, they are cheap too. The way the silicone piece mounts to the spacebar and the way that entire piece mounts to switches it dampens like no foam or any DIY substance could.

Grain Gold’s Sticky Rices have always worked perfectly but the Haimu ones aren’t tested yet afaik.
