Polar65 and Endgame are from the same OEM. Build quality of everything but the PCB and keycaps are better, although subjective, better stock sound too. I’m not familiar with the features on both but definitely not as many and not as optimized as on the 60HE and price difference speaks for itself. I heard the Raven68 was the better budget option though.

if you wanna be safe but still want aftermarket stabs, avoid those 2 brands

if you're looking for "nothing too expensive nothing too cheap" modding the stock stabs might be the safest bet, stabilizers are all similar enough, just gotta modify them to your sound preferences

I’d recommend to not buy stabs yet, use the plate mounts for now until you get your Raw HEs in. Then see if you encounter any issues like the space bar popping off a stab stem and if not, get regular Gateron screw ins (or SW Knights if available), if you do encounter such an issue, get the long pole version.

Ok first thing best advice in modding, when you're a beginner at modding keyboards always start something easy, cheap, and undoable. So for the tempest mod, just try one layer and go up to 3 layers (as 3 layers usually yield its max effect) and see if you like it or not, if you like it keep it, if you dont you can always just take it out.

if you're taking the time to take them apart you might wanna lube the top housing slightly, even just inside the rail or where the top of the sides of the stem hit. There's kind of a pocket at the top of where the stem slots into. I didn't lube mine when I did my L60 springs but it might help. YMMV.
