KS-20 orange, white are just the same switch as the lekkers but with different spring forces

Gateron’s switch puller is the absolute worst as it dents and damages the plate every time you pull a switch. TX’s switch puller is the best as it makes damaging the plate and/or top housing impossible, unlike most other switch pullers.

If the board is lit up, you can press any key any time without issue. It dynamically calibrates during use but there’s no need to stop pressing keys or anything 😅

There used to be a thing a while back where Cherry Profile keycaps would interfere with the switch housing

so people would flip them

but it's no longer an issue in like 99% of cases

as the molds have changed to account for it now

Presumption waring (explanation V2) , be careful: That is the Mini E rather than the stated Mini N (or vise versa on their international site). If it is the N version, it’d be the same color and have the same magnet as the Mini E, which means that it’d also suffer the same issue as the 37Cs. Unless Gateron has started to use the same magnet with two different strengths.

So yeah just keep in mind with something abt north and south facing switches on a board like wooting, there really isn't a debate between which one should be used as switches these days have improved top housing mold like cam said so there's no issues with cherry profile keycaps anymore. More or less they dont sound different in either orientation, only difference is how bright the rgb is with them and how much you care abt it.

Ah, their listing states Mini N but shows pictures of Mini E. If the pictures are accurate, Mini N has a slightly blue stem (and a 37 series top housing 🤔).

It's not the magnet strength that's the issue, it's the polarity. Why? Because the HE sensors used on the 60HE have a narrow operating range and when you flip the polarity of the magnet, it shifts the voltage bias of the HE element.

Fun fact that I don't think has been shared, the sensors on the 80HE will have a slightly larger operating range which should allow them to better support opposite polarity switches.
