As Tenturo said, friction fitting does fit against the wall while having the pcb sit on both or either the standoffs and post. If there's no standoffs then the pcb would be sitting on the post.

If you desire a specific sound signature, just do a bit of experimenting or taking a look from other builds and ask questions. Just to add on to what Pops said, I or we dont really recommend going straight into modding right away unless theres problems you want to fix.

are much heavier

than normal plastic caps

the 1U ones are heavier but not by the same percentage

if you have your L60 switches also open those up and put the springs from those in the stab switches

i swapped the srpings in all the big keys,

it still happens if i purposely press down the key super hard but under normal use, all good now

Here’s some tips for someone that’s a bit more of a perfectionist and wants to put in the proper effort for painting their board:

• Remember to use an etch primer prior to your base colour coat, especially since it’s an aluminum surface, you will need the paint to stick.
• When spraying, continuously shake the can in between each stroke. Keep the can AT LEAST 25-30cm away and spray lightly (~pressing down at ~50% pressure) with each stroke, in a back and forth motion. Let go of the nozzle after each stroke, begin pressing the nozzle OFF the board then work your way onto and across the board.
• DON’T spray directly onto the board at a close range while applying high pressure, you can evidently see the uneven layers in paint. This will prevent you from having to wet sand due to uneven layers and runs, you want to be in a situation where you only wet sand just to get rid of any little bumps or imperfections.
• Tape parts you don't want painted

And of course. Use low grit sand paper carefully over the whole case before you start.
